We learn everyday bro.

Guy don't let people talk you down. You didn't do anything wrong after all you never was seripus with your request according to your narration. She girl is stupid with entitlement issues... These are the kinds of riders that believe Bolt is a carrier service company or must carry every luggage and have every stops they so please.

The only place you made a mistake was agreeing to carry her even with her excess luggage. The app says, "if luggage can't fit in ask the rider to request another ride or cancel and report "luggage can't fit". The guy that trained us during my unboarding said, "Guy if the load too much use your head"... An average street boy knows what that means.

The stupid girl reported you collected cash for a card trip not charging for extra luggage. If it was the later Bolt wouldn't have called you they called simply because you collected cash for a card trip, that signal alone is term fraudulent and when cases like these are reported Bolt always contact the driver to find out what truly happened. I've experienced similar thing b4 during the partial lockdown and I did justice to that effect via mail to bolt... They even suspended my account for I think about 2days or so but when they judge the matter well they unblocked my account.

So next time simply cancel the ride especially if it a short trip. Don't even border negotiating offline with some ladies they don't like hearing it especially if you're the one that initiate it.

Watch out for your account and be careful from now on till like 6weeks because they must have put you on a watch list.

Bro I don’t get involved in your myopic view of things, but why won’t I go for 20k brake pads that are not ceramics and will last me for as long as 2years before thinking of replacing?
It takes a level of understanding to get involved in "my view of things" which you unfortunately, may never have.

Don't bring your veiled insults near me. I respect no one.

Do you need a dash cam to convince bolt to block your account instead of just warning you? Except bolt has it in their terms and condition, you are the fraudulent one here for aksing for additional fare, I think she was right to report you. you should have made the trip offline from beginning.

Boss let's not get over holy on this matter. The truth is we Nigerians abuse things, e hailing is supposed to convene people and not cargo, maybe I am wrong. Even if the person have to come with his or her laugange, then D.W.T most come to play or the driver use his or her discretion. You can't tell me because u book for a ride, u have the right to carry fridge or a big generator along with you. I can't even carry fridge, but if I have to, then it have to b on special negotiate. I did took 500 for loads today, yes! I did. 3 riders and my trunk full with dia equipments. I didn't say a world till I start feeling D effect on my shocks, told them straight up, they should have told me all this before coming to PU, now my shocks r at their mercy, do they still plan to pay same amount. They end up topping the fare with 5h. For me if the load does not have any affect on the car, I'm cool, but if it's going to damage anything, we will have a re-talk.

Boss money is hard to come by, I don't know what you put together to observe the car, but hear say should not be enough to certified a car Ok. We all have a role to play, that id why they call it division of labour, let a mechanic certify the car before embarking.

Secondly, u said is not auto, I don't know if you have driven such for 4 hours in traffic and how ok it is for you to drive that everyday.

Thirdly, the brand: I don't know much about it so my opinion is void, but do ur maths on mechanical know how, availability of parts, cost of parts and what's the coin of driving such car for a long time. I read about how drivers have turned 2015 corolla into limca lemon in short time here. Honestly, we can't blame the drivers, that car is not not strong for the stress they are putting it thro.

I only say what I would do in the person's shoes.
I noticed most people already know what they want to do before even asking questions, they are just looking for supporters club.
So best thing is to do an exposé of the situation and allow the person decide having had access to better information.

Information can't b 90 percent accurate here, I just wish we should b mindful of the advice we give people here. We can make them or mai them at the same time, some are leaning on their last savings, pensions etc.
If we have a sure template, fine! We can lead them on, as long as we guide them alone the path.

Let me give you a little story.

I have this client that wanted to go into the haulage business. He bought two trucks; A Volvo D12 (2010 model) and A Mack (Es....it looks like Vision sha).

They both worked for sometime, and then the Volvo developed an issue. His mechanic said it's the brainbox. I used my two legs to walk the whole of Berger Suya. Only one man had it and he said it 450,000 last. A brainbox that might not still last.

He left that one first and focused on the Mack. The Mack later picked up an issue. After many diagnosis, it was discovered he needed to change the 4 nozzles (the ones that has the rotor with them). He wanted something original, so he went to Lanre Shittu to buy it. They said it was 1,900,000 for the 4 pieces. We didn't even see it in China, only Tokunboh which is still dicey. He has decided to change the complete engine to the old one.

When we tell you that it's wise economically to stick to these cheaper ones, we know what we are saying.

There's no HOWO that would give you headache like these two did. It's parts are readily available. The engine is not complex. The tractor head comes with spring, not balloons.

The funniest part? The same money they would pay you to use a Volvo and carry goods, it's the same money they would pay you to use a HOWO truck.

And yes, HOWO trucks that come from China as Tokunboh are also neat too.

Interesting!

Let me address your post from the 1st point

1. If you have a source of water close to the Farm, Getting GP tank and making borehole is just an extra cost to me... Why not buy Honda 5hp pump instead of the Diesel gen... You know the Pressure can burst the drip tapes ryt... Drip tape plus installation is 300k-350k

2. Land Clearing in Ogun state is 15k...making of ridges is 10k... Spraying of Fungicides will be done by your workers.

3. Hybrid seeds for an acre shouldn't be more than 100k

4. 800k can cultivate an acre of Cucumber very well... This is something I've done... This is something friends have done... My Boss dey even use 500k take cultivate an acre.

Same thing I'm saying.... Channel your resources to irrigation and Nutrition... The rest are just for efizzy.

Get 2 Benue or workers from Cotonou... You are good to go

Let's not derail the thread b4 their robot ban usgrin

But how many land can one get in a water environ... Lets be realistic about fact biko.

You didnt talk about mobility abi u dey trek go ur farm?

Well, having a farm in the SS is not the same as having a farm in the North, SE, Or in the west. The variety of crop customers consumes or prefer is largely different. Running cost and logistic is another different thing to talk about.

Since you said its doable base on your jurisdiction then I don't think I should argue further with you.

Nice one bro.

As I was about to drive out, Rider came out without any remorse or apology or greeting.

Rider: I'm in a hurry, drive fast.
Me: stepped out of my car, opened her door and politely said Get the Bleep out of my car.

Second trip,
From my area, to Ikota on 1.5x surge.

Me: I'm at your gate, only for me to see 2 Big speakers, turntable, engine and a duffle bag.

Rider: boss pls open your boot?
Me: I just look at the loads cancelled the trip.. I kuku off the App. I just go swimming for one hotel around my area.

Are there services that can rent to her or do hire-purchase? What info will they need?

Good evening everyone

Earlier this year, this guy faking to be a Doctor duped me of 25k for driver's licence fee despite the fact that I tried to do all my checks.

If you have any information on him, please let me know.

I know he has since left this account dormant and would have created a new one.

He pretends to be a Doctor and will refer you to a non-existent FRSC officer.

Anyone that knows him should tell him that he will be found and all the pain he made me go through will be exacted on him by then.

His email is wartsnigeria@gmail.com

Wartsnigeria:

Yes he called and sounded upset this morning because I forwarded your number and reffered to you as my friend. Please don't quote me on this again.

Actually, she disrespected you. And you opted for your dignity rather than the money involved. A great lesson for all drivers. It's not always about the money. If drivers don't show some form of dignity to this job, don't expect your rider to respect you. Hopefully next time, she'll be courteous..
