Why? Chalobah is an 'extra' defender, who normally will be taking his spot as a squad player but has taken his chance beautifully and given the coaching staff something to think about.

We have James who held his own against ManCitys and Madrids in the CL. So why are we suddenly worried about them? We have James, Azpi, Silva, Chris, Zouma, Rudi....all defenders, and some that can play multiple positions. And this is all without Chalobah.

Why should we sign Kounde? We are not threatened. We are very good.

Ilaix Moriba is who we should be trying to get on the dirt cheap for midfield and forget this Kounde business. Chalobah has taken that spot, and for free.

I remember mentioning here that Trevor should be given a chance in midfield due to his ball playing abilities and physical strength and I was laughed at that he's not Chelsea quality, though Ibime differed and said he will come good as a CB. Well done to Trevor he's done himself a whole lot of good, his upside will be tremendous if he can maintain his composure and if he doesn't reach that he will be a good squad player at worst.

inflat how, the lad has been a starter before he joined Sevilla at a then high price for them, and over the past two seasons has been consistently in the team. Zouma is a great defender I like, he would have scored today from one of those free kicks we had today but sadly it seems like he is leaving. If he stays no problem, it has already been said they will be sign Kounde, let's just watch and see
