You're right about the creativity and assists. He's become a better creator. He can create chances for teammates or for himself from relatively non-threatening positions, using good hold-up play, a step over here and a body feint there, bursts of pace and his incredible strength.

Lukaku has improved, no doubt. And at 28, he's in his prime years. I just hope he replicates his form at Inter.

Funny enough, a number of our CBs - specifically the right sided ones - are quite versatile.

Chalobah can play CB and CDM, same with Christensen. James can play there too - albeit more like a last resort - and can play RCB, RWB and RB.

most of the players sold were young, they will go on to be more expensive than the figures we got, lukaku is 28, I can't predict how he would age but I doubt that he will still be playing at top level at 34 given the amount of effort he exerts to play his game, if this was a deal to sign haaland, net spend should be celebrated but this was a deal done to maximize the potential of the team and coach, personally I wouldn't touch a player above 21, let alone 28

How is a player around 27/28 years old? This is the peak for Lukaku and if he gets the right supplies, he'd hit superior form than he did for Inter Milan.

For his body size, Lukaku is quite fast with some body feints to beat his man while on his way to score. Let's give him the benefit of doubt first and see what it turns out to be rather than writing him off.

I agree Mbappe and Haaland are quite faster due to age factor.
