Thank you very much Andrew. I wont be surprised if Charlesemeka85 holds a contradictory answer to this since he is hellbent on playing down what Nwakali did at Alcorcón. grin

Emeka, your move... lol

When playing against teams whose squad consist of largely based regular individual of CAF Champions league, we have to be wary of them
Al Haly(Egypt)
zamalek(Egypt)
Al Hilal(Sudan) to mention but a few.

On the positive side, if we can get our midfield and defence solid and discipline d, we have a team that can outscore opponents especially lowly ranked African countries and mid table ranked European teams
Against Ukraine, defensive slip up from 2goals lead
Against Sierra Leone defensive slip up from 4goals lead
Against lessotho H/A 7goals total
Against Benin H/A 3goals total

Leggo Afcon 2021. . Cameroon here we come

Heiiiii.... woah. What a signing this would be. Wanna see Finidi's coaching style in the league abeg. Would be highly interesting.

He's up against Imama and Amunike. I personally would take Amunike but like u I am anxious to see what Finidi does.

If not for rohr defeatism approach to games, having a coach like late keshi will be the sweetest to face a Cameroon or an Algeria in a final...those two nations still have a score to settle with us...Afcon 2000/Afcon 2019 still hunting me

TheSuperNerd:
Facts to remember: The OC duo

A Super Eagles attack with Osimhen and Chukwueze on the pitch at the same time always produce goals.
We are talking 7 games of these two playing together and the Super Eagles never failing to score including games vs Brazil and Ukraine.

The only time this did not happen was on Chukwueze's debut for the Super Eagles vs Uganda in Delta state. Easy to remember. That was also Osimhen's 2nd official cap.

There is an effect both have on our attacking plays when they are on the pitch at the same time. Goals are inevitable. We also create the most chances with both on the pitch at the same time.

Hope this continues....

Update:
1. Chukwueze still working his way back to top shape

2. Osimhen getting set for the new Serie A season.

I hope we won’t suffer any major injuries ahead of afcon

Ehnnnnn!!! On a second thought, I think I want to see Amunike at Enyimba. Oh yes! grin

Someone else should take Finidi.

Imama is the most experienced of the lot shaa as far as the NPFL is concerned.

Interesting to see who Enyimba settles for.

And explain to me why you have always been okay with Ejaria being among our midfield options despite him balling in the Championship while you want Nwakali to first take Huesca to La Liga before we give him a mention here.

Is that not hypocritical? grin

Its called selective amnesia....haha. These persons hate Nwakali just because some people fancy him. smh

I have even extensively explained times upon times here how good Ndidi is and how improved he has become in the last 3 seasons. Even in the Partey vs Ndidi debate, I did enough justice.

Dude is no more just an elite tackling machine. He is much more now... a much improved well rounded Midfield player.

It's a pity some still don't rate him. Especially my good man, Idennaa. The thing tire me no be small. You rate Nwakali but you don't rate Ndidi. E get as e be. I rate both players but it is also a fact that Ndidi is levels above Nwakali. Nwakali is just making his way back strongly after 3-4 generally average/mediocre seasons (+ an inactive year) whereas Ndidi has been doing this super consistently and madly improving in the last 5 years!!!

Even Elyte89 wey you quote no too rate Ndidi like that. Ask am. I believe he won't deny it. grin

I am Pro-Nwakali and also Pro-Ndidi but slandering Ndidi while hyping Nwakali is a big no for me. Both are ballers but one has been a baller for a much longer and super consistent period and deserves respect in here.

SuperNerd , I underrated Ndidi because he doesn't have the ball playing abilities I admire in a player. Meanwhile, I never compare Ndidi to Nwakali strictly because they play different roles. Nwakali is a central playmaker who can also man the AM very comfortably and make you drool with his beautiful deft touches. Ndidi , on the other hand is mostly a combative DM with little confidence on the ball.

Mister man. Nwakali is not hyped here. It is facts being put on the table. I have dropped his stats from last season here and it shows how improved he is now even from a defensive standpoint. But you won't see that one. grin

Was it not you who said you were not even sure if he will get game time for Huesca when La liga smartbank begins? Yet he played their first game. He was even made captain in their last Preseason game. But all you do is speak from past knowledge of the lad.

How many games of his did you you watch last season? How many? grin

Ouch!

19 y/o Nigeria U17 star at the 2019 FIFA U17 WC, Olakunle Olusegun is being linked with a move to FC Krasnodar of Russia.

Moving from Fremad Amager in Danish division 2 to the Russian top flight would be quite the leap for Olusegun.

Source is one of Denmark's reputable newspapers (@BTSportsen)

Time will tell.

His 20/21 season stats at Amager:

▶️Olakunle Olusegun (Fremad Amager: Danish NordicBet Liga)

*7 goals + 4 assists in 31 league games (21 starts)

*5 goals in 6 Cup games (4 starts)

Overall total:
*12 goals + 4 assists in 37 games (25 starts) in all comps.

Anyway, you still haven't answered my question. How many games of his did you even watch last season?

Now , you are crossing the line. I never hyped Nwakali , rather , I make bold of his talent and abilities...I never overrated Nwakali on this thread. I am constantly talking about him because when I look around its only Nwakali who could readily fill the creative role SE desperately need....thats why I bring him up often.

See the issue here my dear Idennaa.

You speak good of Nwakali's talents (and I also share your views on Nwakali for the most parts because he still got the class) but absolutely talk down on Ndidi who happens to be our best and most elite midfielder today. That is the problem.

So ofcos, others reading your assessment of the two lads will conclude you are overhyping Nwakali and underrating Ndidi.

Folks here will always view your view on Ndidi through the lens of how much in love you are with Nwakali. I bet you most folks here cannot wrap their head around why you think Ndidi is so average. It's a shocker to most.

I disagree. His confidence on the ball has since improved to be honest. I know a time when Ndidi was exactly what you described and that was about 3 seasons ago or so but he has added cerebral passing to his skillsets. This is a guy who assisted about three of Iheanacho's goals last season. Takes some vision to be able to achieve that.

Ndidi's Vision from deep has improved and his confidence on the ball is much improved from previous seasons. Check out his passing stats from 19/20 and 20/21 seasons. Ndidi now is more well rounded than before if we are both being analytically honest in this player assessment.

Nwakali is a natural deeplying playmaker and Played there even at U17 level so it's no surprise he plays like one who has top notch cerebral passing and deft touches embedded in his DNA.

If I were Ugbo, Ligue 1 would be my destination over the Belgian league if OM really firm up their interest.

BEST FORMATION TO EXPLORE OUR ATTACKING OPTIONS

Our strenght lies in attack.
I think we can play with 3 strikers at the same time.
Osimhen and Awoniyi as left and right forwards and a striker like Moffi in the middle.
The three of them can even interchange positions because of their mobility.
This way, we will confuse our opponents.
Our strikers can play as wide forwards. Wide forwards are semi-wingers who can do as they like.
Also, Sadiq Umar can play as a wide forward and supporting strker at the same time.
I mean play Sadiq umar behind osimhen and only one winger. Let him roam.
These ideas are in my mind.
The fluidity of our strikers should be exploited.
I think France plays like this sometimes.
We can use wide forwards and a striker who can be mobile.
