Hey, PC Gamer here. I see you're a PS4 gamer.

Have you found any reliable network for gaming yet? I read your comment about Swift, unfortunately for me it's not even available in my location - Abuja.

I discovered recently that the best network for gaming is actually Glo. At least in terms of having good ping (better than other regular consumer ISPs like MTN and 9Mobile). However, Glo constantly has between 5 to 20% packet losses and you must already know how bad that can be for gaming.

I mainly play Valorant and Apex Legends alongside a few other games, and having good ping with no packet losses can make a night and day kinda difference in those games.

Be like sey u never use Tizeti before.:

Network will be working fine when their engineer is around, as soon he leaves, it becomes crappy again..

If you know how excited I was when I first got Ntel..

My biggest challenge is that I am a gamer, and all them normal GSM service provider networks are on strict. Bad for gaming..

I need open Nat Type or Nat Type 2

Nope. The MTN Hynetflex router doesn't have support for TDD 4G bands.
bastardson:
Guyz, pls if I unlocked my Hynetflex router, can I use a Swift network sim card on it?

Oh my god MTN is the worst network for gaming, when it comes to downloading large files it's good. But for gaming it's glo for me

For those saying mtn hynetflex is bad, well maybe it's your location. No regrets here for over a year, take note that I'm not even using the hynetflex data plan.
This is the only router that gives me more than 7MB/sec (at night), day time 5MB/s+ guaranteed. This is 3:45pm.

I am still using my MTN, it works fine, just that you will find it difficult connecting with your online friends to ball Fifa.. But Fortnite and Apex Legend shout work just fine.. CTR wouldn’t tho

No one is saying the Hynetflex is slow, I only said the plan is a scam.. Nothing unlimited about it.. I get 35mbps regularly on it.. and Get same with my normal MTN internet SIM card.. Dey both give the same speed. It’s plan that’s a scam..

Meanwhile I am a gamer, thought that since Hynetflex is a router, it will solve my gaming issue. Which is to av a NAT type that’s not strict..

NAT type 2 or open Nat type if you use Xbox

I am sure it should work, if I unlock it properly. Cuz it worked with my unlocked Mifi TP-Link..

Glo would have been the clear winner for me too if not for the packet loss issue I experience on the network. I'm guessing it's because their coverage is not really stable at my location, it's very shaky and drops to one or two bars every now and then.
