As of the time Kovacic went off, he had 25 passes more than Jorginho in the match.

I come dey wonder wetin that guy dey do for pitch if not his famed high volume passing. It's been like this since Tuchel came. Jorginho dropping poverty passes but his tackles and interceptions went up. Meaning all he does is clean up awoof after the 3 centrebacks have corralled opposition into a tight corner.

The 3 centrebacks now do all the passing and his midfield partner does even more than him quite often.
