I don't understand how Kovacic below par effort isnt really criticized for that game. Dude left so many acres of space and was wandering, Also saw him get dispossessed a few times; Hell, he even missed key movements during certain instances of Lukaku hold-up play. I also saw more long balls from Jorginho than Kova so I wonder if its not availability bias from the Lukaku's goal that's playing here

There were moments in the game the midfield was utterly bypassed; This wasnt the best of games for Jorgiboy, but if anyone should get blamed for the mediocre midfield, Certainly should be Kovacic; Sure, he's very good at progressing the ball, but he gets stringed along by the opposition way too much. Dont even understand why Jorgi-Kova combo always struggle against Arsenal
