I thought thIs was going to be Iheanacho's season, but seems Rogers have other unfavorable plans for him.

Rodgers wants to kill Leicester City fans with frustration. They are tired of the who Iheanacho thing.

Zubby is a certified carpenter stop the hype already undecided undecided
IDENNAA:

I wish Zubby could leave Turkey and try somewhere else. Honestly , the boy is the most complete Nigerian midfield commander I could think of but he is very unlucky.

The boy can play 10
Play DM
Play centrally
And still never get tired....beautiful player to watch.

Why do you guys derive joy in running people down. Allow the young man struggle and pray he finds his feet.

You're more ambitious for nancho than he is for himself

All what he wants is the British passports
The earlier you learn take your mind off him the better

So painful that a promising player like Nancho never played up to his potentials

Perez's situation is very different.

No intent, but watching the replay alone is like watching a horror movie. That challenge has caused career-ending injuries many times in the past.

Everyone, including the ref, knew that Perez was innocent. But, the challenge itself was too gory.

Not Ndidi's best game, he's been dribbled past too many times tonight. I think this should be his worst personal record.

Ndidi was dribbled past 5 times in that match.

In his 178 games for Leciester, that was just the third time that many dribblers had gone past him.

The other remaining two came in 2017, his first season.

Someone did a very slow motion of the foul and Osimhen hand was clearly trying to strike his face. Normal street football action. But the guy overreacted and caught the referee's attention immidiately, or the referee caught it spot on. This is professional soccer. VAR cannot overrule it because Osimhen went for his face actually, whether he intended it to go there or not I don't know. Dem no push somebody for face. Going for another players face will grant you an automated red card with police to carry you out if you still want to argue.

TBH, I'm disappointed in Osimhen. He has serious potential and this stage there are few things he should be avoiding already.

Stop the cap every angle shows his hand on the opponents chest. Well I see u are dead set on calling that farce a red card so let me not interfere with that.

How can you blame Rodgers? I blame iheanacho for not guaranteeing "play time" prior to signing that new contract. It is almost as if he is content with being a squad player

3. Chidozie Awaziem (CB) Assist + MOTM World Class Defensive Performance (Boavista): Played 90mins+

*Excellent Performance in the Sweeper role/Libero of a back 3. So composed. So in control and what a pass for that assist from inside his own half into the final third for Hamache to chase down and score. Similar to what Bastoni did for Inter last season vs Juventus which found Barella. Awaziem was golden today. Always had it in him. Remember he was our best defender during the last international window. Awaziem is coming into his own as a Defensive Stalwart and he's still just 24

TheSuperNerd:

A little twist which isn't 100% confirmed yet.

As at 12-24 hours ago, Olakunle's profile on Transfermrkt read "without club" indicating that he was a free agent coming into the summer.

Well, just today, his profile has been updated by Transfermrkt and what can be drawn from the update is that he has signed for Botev Plovdiv in the Bulgarian Efbet liga (first tier).

Now, I have been to the Botev official social handles on both Instagram and Twitter and as at five mins ago, I saw nothing on Olakunle's supposed move to Botev as indicated by Transfermrkt.

'Visited their official site and it was also a no show.

It's not the first time Transfermrkt will update a player's profile with the player ending up not going to said club but time will tell if this is de ja vu or if they actually nailed this one. We watch.

About this.... it's confirmed true.

Olakunle Olusegun signed for Botev Plovdiv as a free agent after he refused to renew at Fremad Amager but he has now been immediately loaned from the Bulgarian Top-flight club to the second team of Russian Outfit, FC Krasnodar, called FC Krasnodar II in the Russian 2nd tier (The Russian FNL).

He joins possibly with thoughts of impressing enough to break into the first team in the Russian Permier liga thus turning the loan, permanent. Time will tell.

All the best, Baby Vardy. wink

The Magic pass of Awaziem: MOTM showing and that World class pass, A Madness

Chidozie Collins Awaziem's assist isn't talked about enough. That pass is worth 30million pounds grin grin You don't pass like that if it's not in you. Either you have it or you don't. Kaaiiii...

Who here remembers Alessandro Bastoni's Mad long range Assist last season vs Juventus (to Barella) that got the whole of Serie A talking?

Well, Chidozie Awaziem produced something of similar top quality. World class pass from his own Defensive half over an entire defence and midfield and into the final third for his teammate, Hamache, to chase and convert into a goal.
Awaziem beat an entire team's outfield Defensive network from front to back with that super long range pass. What a ball!

Check out the insane Vision, quick thinking and then the super pass in the highlights clip below... WORLD CLASS DELIVERY.

A clip of a the assist and eventual Goal from various angles:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDu5FJZSOrk

Full match highlights
Check assist from 0.24secs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoibBOMcZyk

AWAZIEM HAS MAD LONG RANGE VISION. Showing why he once had a 30million euros release clause inserted into his Porto contract when he first broke out in his first senior season at Porto. Coming into his own at 24.

Deserved MOTM across all stats sites and Portuguese media sites.

His CB-Sweeper role heatmap is also beautiful.
