Dis government, always want to use force nd threat to settle every issue. I'm really ashamed of Dem all. Even Chris Ngige who practiced as a medical doctor b4 joining politics couldn't even show solidarity for his fellow medical practitioners. I'm nt surprised cos whenever they wanna join politics, they sell their souls to d satan.. 2 Likes |

Except by God's direct intervention.I do not see how this country won't sink in the long run. I'd advise you start making personal plans for your: health: start getting as many private health insurance as you can. There may be not be enough health workers available for you in the nearest future. Earn enough to afford private care Earn in dollars or pounds: learn forex, crypto, Fiverr, dropshipping, affiliating, programming and anything that will make you start earning foreign currency. You see this naira ehn, it won't get better. Remove you money from banks: Let Afghanistan teach you a lesson. Start investing your money in properties in a stable nation abroad. Or invest in a stable crypto like btc or eth or keep your money in a digital wallet. If the country crashes, you may lose everything you have to the banks. Start making plans to exit the country if you can. You were given birth to in Nigeria. God did not tie your placenta here. Remember joseph and Dan. He created the whole world for everyone. There are many beautiful countries you can gain citizenship and contribute to their economy and enjoy the days of your life doing so. STOP WAITING FOR THE COUNTRY TO GET BETTER. YOU MAY DIE IN THE PROCESS AS MILLIONS OF OTHER HOPEFULS DID!!! Be wise!!! 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Quite a long read..... however any strok by Nigerian doctors that isn't centered around better equipments and sound hospitals is purely selfish. Nigerian doctors think disproportionately higher than their value. Many of them have never contributed anything to the field of medicine other than dispensing drugs like professional chemists. |

GhostWisperer: Nigerian doctors should be accorded with utmost respect, to go through the four walls of a useless government institution with barely any modern medical equipment, and still come out to serve under useless policies and lack of medical infrastructure. Do you know how it feels for someone to die under your watch, when you know you could save them if there was the basic amenities needed in an hospital? A government one at that. No government hospital in Nigeria has a 24/7 emergency response service. Yet you leave the main issue to attack those doing what they can. You need to be hanged from a mango tree with your balls. 7 Likes |

There is no profession in Nigeria that is as lucrative as it is abroad. Even secondary school teachers earn jumbo pay every month abroad unlike here in this country. Medical practitioners have been uniquely treated by government over the years unlike other categories of emoyees of the government. While the govt will have to give adequate attention to the imperatives of the medical needs of this country, this is not the appropriate time for doctors to be on strike. Contentious issues between the parties can be sorted out and agreement reached. May God help all us in this country |

KaluwisxPRO: @ the emboldened part; Nigerian doctors don't possess the humanity to mourn a lost patient. They are incapable of even feeling a professional sense of guilt over a lost patient. Their primary goal is money and more money. Canadian doctors rejected a pay raise and Nigerian doctors still one of the most paid people are still crying for covid-19 pay a global disaster. You should be shot in your balls, then cremated and your brains preserved for autism studies; we need to know how full blown idiots like you survived evolution. Debased animal! |

Sluacoast:Please don't try this o, unless you want to create more problems for yourself. If you feel you are sick, try go to the hospital to see a competent medical doctor. That's better than following the advice of a random online babalawo. And for you the poster, stop giving people wrong and dangerous advice. Please. |

drtee247:you need to slap your brain back to its default values. Canadian doctors rejected a pay raise for their patients and nurses, for a better public health system. NOW NIGERIAN DOCTORS ARE STILL TOP OF THR FINANCIAL STRUCTURE IN FEDERAL AND STATE PAY GRADE PRESENTLY. BUT THEY WANT MORE, STRIKING EVEN WHEN PATIENTS ARE DYING. THEY ARE THE MOST ILL-EQUIPPED IN THE WORLD BUT YOU DON'T HEAR THEM STRIKING FOR LACK OF EQUIPMENT. IT'S MONEY AND MONEY. I am not comparing Canadian and Nigerian health systems, I'm comparing the PRIORITIES OF BOTH DOCTORS THERE AND HERE. HAVE I SIMPLIFIED IT ENOUGH FOR YOUR FASTLY RECEDING BRAINCELLS? |
