Giving it at your upper arm doesn’t stop it from working, hcg is usually given intramuscular or subcutaneous, subcutaneous is usually at d abdomen for hcg inj, and done for does undergoing ivf, I am sure it a daily thing for dem at a smaller dose, while for trigger shot, it can be given at the thigh, upper arm and buttocks.
A similar thing happened to me, I was given a trigger, I felt the ovulation using bbt, opk, ovulation pain, progesterone test etc, yet nothing, in fact I have been ovulating for some months now, everything is ok but nothing is happening, we have decided to continue praying and start saving, hopefully next year we are able to save enough and try ivf. Please sabi mamas continue to add me in your prayers, it has been hell for us, we don’t know what is wrong anymore

We tested out the trigger shot tho but still in doubt whether it came back.

And today is day 14 after the trigger shot.... ovulated two days after the trigger.... cuz we got the surge the following day after the trigger, and ovulation is typically 24 hours after surge.

Happy Sunday lovely mama's. My doctor suggested flushing of my tubes but the money he charged is much. 60k. Pls is there any gud doctor that does flushing at a reduced price in Anambra state. Also i want to know if flushing of tubes has worked for any one here.

Let me tell you my experiences in using Guife bao.
This is a long story.
Am not a seller, i just bought it from someone from jiji after reading the testimonies online. Nobody, i repeat, no one should ever use my experience to sell his or her guifebao product except you have taken permission from me if that person does not want to see the wrath of God. Am not posting pictures of it. I thought of snapping it, but I refused to.
I first used 2 inserts of Guifebao at different times. I didnt notice any discharge maybe because I didn't dip it too far. I inserted it leaving the thread outside the vagina, i was afraid of it getting stuck into my vagina / uterus. At another time, I decided to use the 3rd insert in that same manner. After the 3rd day of inserting it into my vagina, my hubby wanted to make love , so I first thought of pulling it out. Something just told me that i should allow my hubby use his dick to push it farther inside the vagina where my hand could not reach. At that point , i wasn't afraid of it getting stuck again. Though, it was hurtful and not enjoyable. I also had a very peppery sensation after the sex.
Two days after, i notice a lot of watery discharge coming down on my pants. Whenever, I wanted to pee, i thought using a small bowl so as to see anything coming out. On the evening of the third day after the guife bao was pushed deeper inside my vagina with my hubby's penis, i peed inside a bowl as usual and I heared "pooo" , a very thick discharge like soaked paper came out of my vagina. I used my hand to remove it from the urine . It was scary. I later inserted my finger into my vagina and brought other loads of it. I later lied down on my back and open my vagina wide, using a mirror , i saw more coming out like head of a baby about to come out. I pushed and pushed my tommy and vagina up as if i wanted to give birth. It was releasing itself and loads of it coming out. I called my hubby to come and see the thing coming out of my vagina. I used my fingers to pack it out, using my fingers again going deeper into my vagina till I felt the guife bao and I removed it with another loads of discharge . The guife bao had disintegrated a little. I packed the discharge out till the next day. After two days , i inserted another one using aloevera gel. it wasn't hurtful that time. This was just last week monday . I pleaded with my hubby to gently use his penis to pushed it in because he said he also had a peppery sensation after he had sex with me with me on Guife bao insert. After 5, days, i notice the exact thing coming out a little . Without wasting time, I cleaned my hands , using a mirrow and I started using my hand to ravage my vagina deeply and I packed loads of it out again with the guife bao, but the quantity was not as much as the first episode of long discharge.
Now, to narrate what it looks like and the quantity. It looks like when u prepare pap in a big bowl and you allow it to get cold . You now use spoon to remove the thick surface that will form after it is cold. The discharge can also be likened to when u soak a whole tissue paper in water and it is still in that wet form of a tissue paper. It did not disintegrate . I had to use my hand to crush it to disintegrate. I hope you understand my analogy.
Now the question is that , is that cyst that is coming out because I have a confirmed ovarian cyst after two scans now or something that has blocked my tubes. I am sure it was not an infection because I never had that and I have tested for it.

Maybe you should try getting another scan done to ascertain the state of cyst. Only then you would conclude if it helped shrink the cyst. Have you done test to check your tubes?

Kindly advise especially if you have experience as regards this.
We have been TTC for about 7 years and my had done HSG about 6 years ago where it was revealed one tube was blocked. Nothing has happened after doing everything humanly possible. Recently, we met a Dr that has us to undergo some test including HSG. I initially told her that I had vowed never to allow my wife go through that process again since she insisted it has to be done to aid her investigation and treatment, we had to do it. The result shows both tubes are blocked and we can only go for IVF. The main issue is that since about 10 days that my wife did the HSG, she has been having serious and intense itching inside her private part. Some drugs were actually prescribed for her to take after the HSG to prevent infection, she has completed the drugs but the itching has persisted. I dont think this is normal. so i will like to know if anyone has had that experience and what can be done to stop it. Thank you

if by flushing of tube do u mean HSG (hysterosalpingogram?)

Good morning sisters, I am new here but would like your opinions about these. Please I would like to know if any one has had an ectopic pregnancy, lost a tube and proceeded to do ivf? I am asking because I had a child five years ago but during delivery the doctor noticed a little bulge at my pubic area when I was 8cm dilated, she suggested an emergency CS. During the Cs she said she found two small fibroids that obstructed the pathway for the cs. Well to cut the story short I had two exlaps surgeries the following September and October to remove abscesses that almost took my life. Last year I had an ectopic pregnancy exactly a month after HSG which showed patent tubes, thereby lost a tube. I haven’t gone to the hospital ever since but I am thinking of going straight for ivf instead to trying to work on the remaining tube. I just want to know of other experiences. Thank you

There's still a high chance of conceiving through ivf since ur tubes will be bypassed during the ivf process. However, natural conception is still possible. It all depends on ur prefered option. I know someone who had a successful ivf after ectopic pregnancy. I also had an ectopic gestation which ruptured at 6 weeks lost one of my tubes. But to God be the glory I'm 8 months pregnant at the moment and they haven't been any complications so far.

Hello Sir, pls see your Dr for the itching, it probably an infection that should be treated. It is either she got it from the HSG itself or antibiotics/medication she was given to prevent the infection, don't worry she would be fine.

Your Dr's suggestion on IVF is very on point and in the right direction since both tubes are blocked, trying naturally can lead to etopic plus there is no point wasting more time. I wish you both all the very best and God bless you for being a supportive husband.

I dont have experience on itching after HSG but please take her back to the hospital as they might need to give her stronger antibiotics for the infection.

7yrs is already gone and since the tubes haven't become patent, please go for IVF. Although, depending on the cause of the blockage, they might need to remove the tubes to increase the success rate.
There's an IVF thread id post the link. Do go through it and do your research very well before embarking on the journey. I pray your first time will be a BFP for you both by God's grace.
