I am sorry , and I am ready to be proven wrong...but I am going to believe JAMB. The guy probably expected a higher score than usual...and is disappointed he did not get a higher score. JAMB has shown him the evidence, and he does not believe it.

Especially as the guy had no documentary evidence, no proof, no prntouts or anything...but just his 'word' JAMB has the proof.

No university in the world would require Further Maths to read medicine. Na him know which UI he dey talk about.

I am a stakeholder in the education sector in Nigeria. I understand what is going on very well but I will be careful with my choice of words here.

However, Jamb is doing the right thing here and the boy (and his collaborators) may be on their way to jail.

It is true.

Some people told me that if they were the ones, they would have taken up the matter.

But for now, I am not pressing further because what is in my transcript is good enough to allow me do a PhD in any University.

But I will still meet the management of the school on the issue when I have time.

I am no longer in the state where the University is located.

When I have time and enter there,I will surely meet them on the issue.

It's quite unfortunate that this happened to you. I know what it feels like to come out with a lower class of degree than your actual worth.
However, if you are able to get the management of the school to rectify this anomaly after you might have obtained a PhD with said transcript, then technically, won't that invalidate your PhD? I'll advice you seek the professional opinion of a legal practitioner on this matter.

His story isn't adding up, you don't need further mathematics for an engineering course let alone medicine and surgery.

The boy might be saying the truth about what he saw. His crime now is being bold to speak up.

Is he not educated enough to know what he saw ?

I have seen a best student in his school with 7 As in WAEC. Yet JAMB gave the boy 200 as his score.

Even his teachers doubted it.

Can JAMB swear they don't sell results ?? If there is a racket inside JAMB that sells results to highest bidders, then the boy is right. The CEO of JAMB may not be aware.

And, who needs further mathematics for Medicine and Surgery? I believe even engineering don need further mathematics in WAEC

This country is headed nowhere. I know this guy in person. He attends the same lesson as me although he later started teaching maths and physics. He even taught me physics for this year's jamb. He's not just good, he's too good. Edu is the definition of intelligence
This is not the first, not the second but the third time jamb is doing this. This year's own was just the height of it.
How can you keep denying a student his real score? Is that how much of a joke this country takes the future of the youths?
I'm not even talking about how bad this year's jamb was. You would check your score this minute and see one thing only to check the next minute to see another thing. Is it that they are using us to catch cruise or what?
When we heard this news at our lesson center, we were shocked because when he came on Tuesday, he told us that they were going to Abuja to defend the results only to hear now that he is in police custody for manipulation of results. What stupid manipulation?
They have turned the whole story upside down just to shut him up.
For his father to sue the court means that he his confident that he can defend the results. If Jamb says he was involved in malpractice, let them give him another exam to write because I'm confident that he would smash it. Just that our system is already corrupted, they might decide to manipulate it again. Infact, I'm just vexed right now. Personally, I feel Edu is too good for this trash we call country. Let them just release him for us. Person we God don bless, Jamb no fit stop am. After dem go say the youths are lazy, the youths are not reading but just look at what they are doing to someone that deserves it. How will this encourage people to study now? I have seen a guy who is best student in his school with 6As and 3Cs in WAEC.

JAMB gave this boy 200 as his score. The boy couldn't cry. There is a code to frustrate young people in the country.

Let them keep pursuing Yahoo boys, bandits and IPOB. All these things are the creation of the CORRUPT ELDERS of the country.

It is like what happened to me when I was doing MSc.

I put my phone on a wall close to where I was writing the first semester exams.

One external supervisor came and asked who got the phone.

I foolishly said it was my phone.

He then turned the back of my exams card and showed me where it was written that students should not so much as come into exams hall with phone.

All my 5 courses of the first semester were cancelled and I was asked to write them again.

That automatically meant my set passed me and I had to write the courses with a new set of students who would be admitted the next year.

It was one of the worst things to happen to me academically.

I wrote the courses the next year and scored "A"s in all the courses.

The previous ones I wrote,I didn't score as good as these last ones.

But guess what: After my external examination, when I was about to collect my statement of result,I discovered the school was using the scores for the exams they cancelled, and not the second scores which were the authentic ones and which would have made me have a first class.

The scores for the exams they cancelled are the ones that are used in my MSc transcript.

Just because they don't want me to have a first class in my MSc

The boy said that he wrote JAMB three times, and the second time he got 306, and got admitted into UI, but then he allegedly could not continue because he had no further maths.

Which is strange...because to get into medical school...you really don't need further maths. (Engineering is where you need that)

Jamb should be bold enough to reset another exam for him if they are sure of them. I don't believe the lame excuse given that he saved his sisters number with jamb USSD code because if it was a saved number the main number will appear when u check the message history. So jamb should either own up or pay up.

Please, let's stop peddling this kinda stupidity. Scores just don't change. If you logged in a saw a score, keep evidence. People have become so dubious nowadays that they can do anything to be seen as a victim. Why would JAMB just hate him from 2019 till date by constantly changing one man's scores. Make una fear God

More information has come to light.

1.The guy saved his sister's number as the JAMB update number

2.He then used his sister's phone to send fake jamb results to his phone.

3.He then passed off the fake JAMB results as his real results...and since the results showed up under the 'jamb' number...

4.His reason was that he really wanted to get his course...and thought it would be the best route...by lying.

So, JAMB was telling the truth.

Where did you get all this information? You did your own personal research or what?
