Congratulations!!! Dandollarfx:
Pprrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr landed safely on September 1, 2021. All glory to God. And it came to pass after a long time of 5 months and 7 days. Thanks to the Almighty Helper of the helpless. I’m a mature candidate of age 40. I applied at age 39. The only 40th birthday gift I asked from God some months ago was PPR and other special gifts. Programme – Diploma programme in Seneca College Application submission date: March 25, 2021 Upfront medical done on April 21, 2021 Medical passed on May 19, 2021 Biometrics update reflected on my profile on August 8, 2021 after I have done it since March 27, 2021 GCMS Notes requested on June 18, 2021 and received it on July 29, 2021. Medical passed, criminality passed but Eligibility (Blank) and Info sharing was in progress. I declined NSE request because of IELTS. Abeg, help me praise God for this good news. |

God when !!! May Canada favour you sis. ray007bu: LONG POST ALERT
LANDING GISTT
Omo, I’ve been inactive here for like a week and I just want to say congratulations to everyone that has gotten PPR and also to those that got delyed, please keep pushing, IT WILL DEFINITELY END IN PRAISE.
Traveled on the 23rd of August with Lufthansa (booked on AirCanada website). Let me just say that I’ll advise those that plan to use AirCanada to use someone already in Canada to help them to book because I made the mistake of booking from Nigeria only for me to receive a mail like a week to my flight that “my payment was not confirmed “ and I should come and make payment in person at any of their service centers (NOTE: AirCanada does not have any service Centre in Nigeria). My aunt was able to help me go to the Toronto Pearson Airport and make payment again and they later refunded my money.
So back to the D-day, i had a connecting flight with Lufthansa to Frankfurt and then from Frankfurt to Toronto which was set for 10:55pm. People are leaving this country ooo, the queue to enter Murtala Mohammed airport was so long and I heard people had even been on the queue for up to 2 hours. Mine didn’t take that long as I got to the airport around 6:30pm and the line had started moving.
Finally entered and had to go and weigh my bag because I knew it was more than the accepted kg (I had 32kg and 17kg). I balanced it sha because I don’t have money for extra luggage and my folks had to take some stuff back home. When it was time to get boarding pass, they asked for passport, flight ticket and scanned my Covid test. They also gave me that yellow card to fill in my details. It’s advisable to wrap your foodstuff (it’s 1k) for protection.
My family couldn’t follow me past this point and this was when the floodgates opened ooo, me that was forming hard girl hard girl (Thank God for face mask lol)
At Customs, they asked for my boarding pass, passport (which they stamped) and then you’ll have to remove your shoes and any gadgets you have in your hand luggage.
My flight to Frankfurt was short sha because I slept most of it. The food was cold so I just had tea.
When I got to Frankfurt, it got interesting. Their method of searching, check-in and boarding was very organized. There was a woman there that her Covid test had expired and they told her she would have to redo it (very expensive at that airport).
The flight to Toronto was much longer and AirCanada’s movie selection is top notch. I didn’t even know when I had watched 3 full movies but then no WiFi (you have to pay for it)
Once we landed ehn, first thing I did was Thank God because no be me do am, I’m still shocked sef. Canada Border services asked for Enrollment letter, Admission letter, proof of funds (gave them my funding letter) and then Covid test and I was given my study permit. I also registered on Switch health for arrival Covid test so I ddnt have to stay on the long queue and was out of there within minutes, they also gave me hometest kit for Day 8 (I’m not fully vaccinated)
Right now, I’m on Day 9 of my quarantine (Hotel accommodation provided by my school for 14 days) and I’ve been trying to eat their food o but sometimes it’s difficult. My aunt brought food for me so I’m still on Naija diet .
Anyone that arrives Toronto and wants to connect, I’m always happy to.
Thanks for this platform, I really gained a lot from here, we will all rejoice! |

Congrats to your FAM Pinkey2021: IT’S ANOTHER PPR FOR MY FAMILY!!!
So, in May, I applied for my hubby’s niece. I did everything myself just like I did my own application.
My hubby (her paternal uncle) sponsored her.
Application: May 14 Background check: May 14 Upfront Medicals: May 19 (updated to pass May 26, same day I submitted the e-slip). Biometrics: May 26 Applied for GCMS Notes: July 7 Received GCMS Notes: Aug 5 Eligibility started: Aug 5 BVL/PPR: Sept 2
Documents submitted:
PROOF OF FUNDS: *1 Full Year Tuition receipt *Sponsor’s company’s CAC certificate *Sponsor’s company’s Tax certificate *Sponsor’s MYBANKSTATEMENT Ticket and Password *Sponsor’s Bank Reference Letter *Sponsor’s Int’l Passport *Sponsor’s Letter of Sponsorship *Sponsor’s court sworn Affidavit of Sponsorship
MAIN DOCUMENTS * Immigration Forms *Letter of Acceptance *Letter of Co-op requirement *Birth Certificate *Int’l Passport Data Page
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS *Statement of purpose *WAEC Certificate and Result Printout *Travel Stamps on Int’l Passport
HOME TIES *Affidavit of Return signed by her parents *Parents and siblings birth certificates *Family Pictures with family & sponsor’s children
Economic Ties (personal and financial assets) *Her Father’s property deed of assignment (I indicated in her SOP that as her father’s first child, she is set to inherit the property, so would definitely return home). *I didn’t include her bank statement because it’s quite new and she’s underage. Based on that I wrote in her letter of sponsorship that her uncle would pay her living expenses into a GIC account that would be opened for her after her visa has been approved. Also, I included in her sponsorship letter that in addition to sponsoring her education and taking care of her living expenses that her uncle(sponsor) is committed to hiring her in his company after graduation, which is one of the reasons he’s sponsoring her. NOTE: her proposed program is in line with what his company does.
Once again, it has ended in Praise for my family!!!
POINTS TO NOTE: I went against the norm but God answered me still. *College application (she just turned 18yrs). *Uncle sponsorship *No personal bank statement
What might have worked in her favour *Uncle (Sponsor) paid one full year tuition *Bears same surname with Uncle *Uncle (Sponsor) indicated in his sponsorship letter that she’s his favorite niece who’s like a daughter to him. He also mentioned how bright and intelligent she is, and that he’ll do anything to see her fulfill her dreams and succeed in life. Also, he pointed out he had only two children aged 12 and 13, and that sponsoring his niece wouldn’t have any effect on his finances or resources because he has enough to cater for all. We backed up this claims with evidence.
For her SOP, I wrote how much she loves her chosen course and why she picked her DLI among a pool of other possible schools. I also mentioned why Nigeria wasn’t an option because of the combination of courses she’ll be studying, plus the interaction with students from various parts of the world which will in turn enrich her studying experience above what is obtainable here in Nigeria. Also that her studying in Canada Will give her an edge over her peers in the same industry, and equip her to be the best in her job in her uncle’s (sponsor) company on her return.
I believe all of the above plus fervent prayers sealed her approval. She even fasted at some point and sowed a seed of faith/thanksgiving.
God is indeed awesome.
It is JOYOUS CELEBRATION in my family right now WHAT THIS GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST!
TO EVERYONE STILL AWAITING PPR, GOD WILL SURELY PERFECT IT JUST LIKE HE DID FOR MY FAMILY. HOLD ON TO HIM AND DON’T LET GO.

Congrats sis fav2deep: It's a happy day in my life. Just less than 7 hours after my birthday, I got a BVL and some two hours after that, I got a passport data page update. This passport data page update is because my passport is expiring in november, I got a new one but it wasn't updated to IRCC.
Although this isn't the routine passport request but I guess it's a good news.
S H U P P Y has been the man for me. I thank you so much and for people that are still holding on, our Ppr go show in jesus name.
I am a February 25 th applicant. June 14- MBS request/ eligibility I ordered two of my gcms notes, it came with a preassesment note that a file under the client info couldn't open and my earlier bank statement was illegible. I tacked by giving the the MBS nut didn't resend the client info docs.
Upfront medicals. 12july passed. Couple of ghost updates September 2: birthday September 3:BVL. September 3: passport data page request.

I have my masters already but applied for PGC, tactically it didn't look like it could fly because from some of the gurus here its wrong to apply for something a bit Lower. Grace did it for me
To God be the glory.

Omo!!! , congrats fam Yeemmy:
PPR ALERT
Application submitted: May 7 Biometrics completed: May 17 Request letter: May 14 Responded via webform: June 1 Responded via NSE platform: July 5 (uploaded Letter of Explanation with letter of English proficiency, and updated personal bank statement). Upfront medicals: June 1 Medicals passed: June 7 BVL: September 1 PPR: September 3
Documents submitted: CV Recommendation letter from my academic supervisors (1st and 2nd degree)—Both hammering on the need of my proposed PhD program and how it would greatly benefit Nigeria. Certificates and transcripts. Letter of support from my brother (He expressly noted the amount he transferred to my account, 2M). Letter of Attestation from my parents. Picture with my parents (recent). Land documents (Agreement).
POF: Funding Letter. Personal bank statement (4 months, with history of 3M). Brother’s bank statement (4 months, foreign account). Brother’s pay slip.
The wait was really daunting and exhausting. At some points, I was overwhelmed and doubting my application - It was after I submitted my application I join this thread, then, I began to raise webforms and SHOOTING EMAILS to Nairobi to further fine tune my application based on the recommendation and advice from the gurus here. More so, I PRAYED AND FASTED so that the VOs should overlook my mistakes
As at this time last year, I cant imagine that I could be at this level, in fact, I was about giving up on scholarship after receiving several love letters from Professors. Then, I give it another trial this year—I am heading to UBC for a PhD program with funding. (B.Tech 2014; MSc 2019).
To God be thy glory. Great is thy faithfulness.
To all PPR Hopefuls: You will get it very soon by the grace of God—Your labour will not be in vain. The mercy and the favour of God will envelope your application. God in His infinite mercies will cover your mistakes and color your efforts. The joy will go round. We all testify to the goodness of God and his name will be magnified. He will surely come through for everyone. He’s a faithful God: He thou has promised; he’s faithful and will make it happen very soon. It is well!
Thank you Everyone, God bless you WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST!!! |

Congrats Andir: My Application Details Submitted my application April 13th Upfront Medicals 19th May Additional Documents uploaded 10th August Eligibility review 11th August Rejected the NSE request, BVL 13th August Long pause and wait PPR dropped 1st September My background check still reads “we are processing “ it didn’t change since I submitted my application.
Documents uploaded Passport page Imm forms something funny happened, it made me worried, I couldn’t submit one of the forms I think imm5257 it kept refusing to submit I downloaded like plenty times filled and uploaded but it refused, I just left it since it was optional and didn’t submit it. Birth certificate Statement of result Nysc certificate Waec University transcript Appointment letter from my last job (I’m not currently working and I stated it, was a bit scared this would not work in my favor but I explained why I stopped working due to some family issues and eventually decided to concentrate on my application) Reference letter from previous employer Police Character Picture of me at work Proof of finance from sponsor my aunt (from an investment company of her mutual funds, this really scared me as it wasn’t a bank but God helped me oh, all my fasting, novenas and prayers worked) Letter of sponsorship from sponsor Affidavit of sponsorship Landed property of sponsor Receipt of first semester paid Aunts marriage certificate to show surname Family Pictures Aunt’s international passport My 4 page SOP
NOTE; I had an agent that advised me on documents to compile and helped edit my SOP and Aunts Sponsorship letter, so I handled my application myself, and I submitted it before coming to naira land, honestly I got scared when I joined, seeing the documents a lot of people put in their application I felt mine wasn’t enough, also her statement of account and international passport had her maiden name (my surname in it) I don’t know if that also helped, after some time I reached out to some monikers like Emeka and @shupy who also really helped me with good advice, I was patient and prayed that’s all I could do eventually I noticed that my NSE request was still showing till after a month, then I had to write a letter to explain why I wouldn’t be going the route because the investment company isn’t listed and I also got a letter from the company stating my aunt would sponsor me and she can redraw from her account anytime( I think this really helped my application) because I didn’t submit this letter earlier. So after waiting I still sent a webform of the letter from the investment company so it’ll be added to my application, sent it in July and it uploaded and they acknowledged they received it in August 11th I have a feeling this is what delayed my application even after BVL came almost 3weeke before my final result. In conclusion it was God all through because my application was far from perfect, I didn’t submit any personal bank statement or ownership of any property (this made me scared) but In the End I left it in Gods hands. I wish you all the best and thanks to everyone who has helped, and also people that post their timelines, honestly it helps a lot, I hope mine helps and encourages someone

I raised a webform to upload the evidence that I have done it as upfront on September 1st. No update nor acknowledgement up till now. I'm confused. Please what's your advice? Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by mastersammy(m): 10:57am On Sep 05, 2021 |
OdabiP: Good evening Nairalanders, this is quite long but bear with me. Earlier this year (2021) I was referred to a page on IG that handles Canada study visa called “ Wokostravelofficial” . They apparently were into securing admissions for interested people at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada and I secured their services. After making all payments to one Kinsley Onuchukwu GTB 0568656274 (handler of the Wokos page) and successfully securing the admission, we moved on to the visa application stage and this is where things started going sideways.
While waiting on this, I also applied to another Canadian institution (Niagara College, Canada) and was offered an acceptance to the Broadcasting program with a co-op work permit attached to it but decided to use the Manitoba admission for my study visa since it came before the other Niagara own and I had already began the study visa process but I planned to switch when i eventually got the study visa.
After providing all the required documents needed for visa application ( international passport, my sponsors bank statement of 12M Naira and sponsorship letter, CAC documents, filling my family information form) to “ Wokos”, my application was submitted in early February 2021 and a week later I was invited to do biometrics screening which I did at the VFS center in Lekki.
Months passed and no feedback from the embassy and every time I messaged this guy he always give me different excuses ( COVID, this , that) so I lockup. He refused to give me the details to my IRCC login claiming he is handling many applications and cannot give the login details to everyone so any messages or requests from IRCC that I receive on my email I would have to ask him before he even tells me what was going on and which documents they were requesting for ( NSE documents like IELTS and Mybankstatement)
Eventually after a 5 months wait, he eventually sent me the rejection mail on the 24th of June claiming my application was unsuccessful . I was devastated and asked him if I could immediately request for my GCMS note to know the real reason my application was rejected but he insisted that I would have to wait for at least two months before even applying for GCMS. I doubted it but I waited, a month later in late July, I asked again about applying for GCMS note but he still dismissed it so I took the incentive and made some research on how to apply myself and I did.
After a month and some days later, I received the GCMS today (3rd of September 2021) and I am shocked to find out that they used duplicated documents for my study visa applications that had already been used in several other applications and I was being accused of fraudulent documentation and misrepresentation and being hit with a 5 years ban from all Canada visa applications .
The annoying part alongside this is that this agent was given some time ( June to July) to inform me on the misrepresentation allegations and to challenge it if need be but he did not and if I had not applied for the GCMS note myself I wouldn’t even know that I had been banned for 5 years. Also because Canada, US and Australia share information and data base I have also been told that the chances of me getting a visa in those 3 countries are now slim to none.
I would appreciate any information and ideas on the important next steps I would need to take to possibly appeal this ban. 5 years no be joke ♂️. Please help a brother out This is hrt breaking and so sad, some agents are the ones causing downfall of some Applicants, I'm sure when the agent was filling the visa form for you, he made a silly mistake and put wrong information about you that does not corresponde with the information ircc have in their data base, so this made them to ban you. My advice to you is , for the fact Canada banned you , that does not mean USA, Australia or other neighboring countries will ban you too, Nooo. The reason is bcus every country has their own immigration policies, any breach on it will lead to ban. So I advise you to feel free to apply for visa to any of the neighboring countries butake sure while filling there visa form, you say the truth about yourself by revealing to them that you've been ban before by Canada and other things. As long as your truthfull in filling your visa form for the countries and you didn't breach their immigration policy, they will surely give you visa. I won't advice you to challenge the ban using a lawyer bcus it will cost you money and time, unless your willing and have the resources to challenge it in a court. But before you hire a lawyer if your thinking of getting one, make sure you know the reason why you were ban and to know if unfair judgement was passed to your application. But if eventually, you truely breach the immigration law and you went and hire lawyer to fight for you,you will only be wasting your time and money bcus nothing will come out of it. Jioke1994: Hi ppr hopefuls! The below is from a friend of mine. Pls, is it true?
My agent is finalizing the application to apply next week oo. He wants it to be done paper application. He said that's the best way.
How true is the above? Pls, we need your input.
I will advise you to apply for your visa by yourself and forget these agents, some of them are contributing to the visa rejection or visa ban for applicants. If your new to visa application, I can help you arrange your documents, review your Sop for you and assist you in submitting the application for free, nothing attached, that is if you need assistance, you can reach me using this email address samuelfavour007@gmail.com Secondly, there is a higher chance Canada visa application Paper route will commence this September, bcus we were informed as of last year that it will start this September. 3 Likes |

Mummy4life1: Dear Guru's,
I need your advice.
My program is only September intake.
Should I reply for the program or I should seek another admission for January intake in another school.
waiting for your advice please......
Thanks. It actually depends on some factors; Have you made any financial commitment? If not, you can try other schools out. When will you most likely put in your application? If you are in a hurry, then I think you can still apply with the last LOA, defer your admission, and wait till falls next year to start classes. Just my thought though 1 Like |
