But does it really? Are you really happy you have no close buddy (of the same sex as you)?

Having no friends is not in any way civil, to say the least.

A lot of people go friendless because of the past pains and betrayals they suffered at the hands of these supposed friends.

For me, I have friends, few of them though, but the joke's on who put their trust in them.

It depends on your definition of friends. You can have a lot of acquaintances without really having any friends.
Your acquaintances keep you company when need be.

But I think true friends are cool. Jesus has 12 best friends he called apostles and he managed them well.

I’ve read too many stories of friends poisoning friends. Also, lots of females I know badmouth their close friends also into runs like them. I have left this thing call “friendship”

Those people who complain about you not calling or texting them, do they call or text? If they don't, then they are not friends, they're just selfish, manipulative and attention-craving people who only like to receive, but don't give.

I don't have friends,wen i notice you start becoming too familiar,i distance a lil bit.Friendship na scam,nobody came through wen i needed them most.So these days i just vibe with you as far as we got a business or something to achieve together. #LONE WOLF

To be honest, I have been a great friend to my friends and I have benefitted immensely from friends too. I easily make friends anywhere I found myself, I am jovial, a kind of people's person. Friendship is beautiful, just that we are becoming more greedy and self centered these days.

Mind borrow money from me ,
and when I needed back the money, dude started giving me
five hundred, 2K, 1K from 100K where I borrow am.
when I told him that I don't like the way he is part paying me
this money , boom niggar got angry and gave me
86K block ( only God know how happy I was )and went around telling people how bad I am.
Since that night i dumb his poor a$$ and move on.

I only have business partner now !

Like I’ve noticed in Nigeria, if you want to test your friendship with your guy, both of you should have a money transaction.

Until then, you can’t really say you’ve got a friend
