TheSexLover: God will bless you ojare. Was trying to make the same point to some backward and myopic Northerner yesterday who thinks the North controlling the Presidency translate to them being "master" to others. It shows you the delusional state of mind of the average Northerner. Bragging pathetically about President and AGF office that is of zero benefit to millions of Northerners begging across Southern Nigeria and Africa yet they still proclaim themselves "masters" to other Nigerians. Can't blame them sha. Totally the fault of the South for dancing to the backward tunes of the North for so long. Hopefully this is the beginning of a new Nigeria where Nigerian States and regions will get out what they are willing to put in and parasitism, of any form, will no longer be indulged. https://www.nairaland.com/6738314/tinubus-london-house-new-mecca/5#105623664 4 Likes 1 Share |

Way to go.. Nigeria is not among the top 10 countries in cattle breeding and consumption in the world yet some people have decided to make life a living hell for others so long they feed and sell their cows. United States, India, China, Indonesia and co. consume more cattle meat than Nigeria and yet the farmers there have peace of mind. Why won't people have peace here because of Fulani? If you can't do ranching, pack your loads back to North or Futa Jallon where you came from na.. you can't come from outside and use your private cattle business to inconvenience others, laye! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Things will change change for good if Nigeria start practicing resource control. The states will become very competitive and source for ways to get funds. States will be forced to improve security, power supply, road so they can attract investors and businesses to their areas, otherwise stay broke and hungry. 2 Likes |

Ibkhaleel01:still this thing has more advantages than disadvantages Firstly it will make our lazy governors to wake up And this will make state rise up to competition e.g FG VAT is 7.5% while Lagos VAT is 6% and expect many state to put it at lower percentage to attract investor and not all state will tax business lower than #25m as they will see that as any opportunity to take from Lagos. And it will make our unity strong since no one will feel cheated as bill has it own disadvantages too There are many other benefits if implemented. 4 Likes |

fombi: You are very right you know.. I know for a fact that Nigeria would have faired better under the old system the likes of Nnamdi Azikwe and Aguiyi Ironsi destroyed due to their own ethnic domination agenda. It makes complete sense for states or regions to control their wealth, necessity they say is the father of innovation, poor regions like South East and North East would have improvised and found ways to develop and survive. The best thing now is restructuring and devolution of powers to states. 2 Likes |

TheSexLover: They even brag based on it. The North hosts 87% of the most poverty ridden people in our entire nation. Yet they will be claiming superiority over Nigerians because of political positions 0.00000001% of their population hold that is of virtually zero benefit to people of the region. Their leaders are incompetent, callous and wicked. Followers too are grossly ignorant and totally beholden to their oppressor to the point of even defending them blindly. I don't see hope for the North to be honest and it is time Southerners begin to act so we don't go down with them. 2 Likes |

Ibkhaleel01: Starting from your last paragraph, it is until the system returns to the system at Independence which is Federalism, the interest of the majority of people in the South is restructuring. The South will always support any policy that is among the focal points of restructuring. This is irrespective of wether the protagonist of such policy is using it for political gain. VAT is above political heroism. Another hidden truth is that VAT or Internally Generated Revenue compared to Federal Allocation report is highly political. The Report is not correct. The secret would be exposed when States collect their VAT. Also, South East States have potentials for higher Internally Generated Revenue, but the allocation from the center has not allowed them to look inward. If Biafra is allowed to go, in the next 10 years, you will not be able to recognize some cities in the South East, but the Fulani are afraid of their leaving Nigeria. The South East is never afraid or intimidated over VAT collection when they even want self government. FIRS want to collect VAT on telecom services, PayTV, POS services and others. These runs into billions and FIRS can die because of these VAT. States would be forced to look inward to generate more revenue to develop their States. The VAT report which is political would be useless and the secret exposed. 1 Like |

Bizibi: Oga if you don't know what to say, you ask questions, or keep quiet, Imo state was the first state to pass Anti-Open Grazing Law, in 2006 or so, in the tenure of governor Achike Udenwa. As for VAT issue, many state government are studying and waiting for the appeal court judgement, be rest assured that all the Southern State will swing to action when the coast is clear. |

Which literally means no matter what their leader does they must defend him And when the poor Airs, they use Sharia law on them. People that intellectually can't withstand South but because of our leaders greed n collecting of envelope makes them have mouth. No wonder why dey have a problem wen ever south unite And I know in South we will have betrayals like Hope n umayi but as long as we have more heads together we have power With river n Lagos showing power very soon South south n others will join n let see what they will do Uncircumcised motherfuckers 2 Likes |
