I wish Wike and Sanwo-Olu wins this. But Appeal court will soon over rule the judgement. Las las Bubu and supreme court go intervene on behalf of FIRS. This country's judiciary system is a mess. 43 Likes |

As a Rivers man, this VAT sweet me but is the common man going to gain anything? People have been begging Wike to pay pensions, he has been deaf to their request and punishing Rivers people. Now to collect money, he is at the forefront. Dirty thief 49 Likes |

Lawyers can so much make a simple case unnecessarily complicated. What stops the judge from stating it clearly in unambiguous language like: " I hereby order that River State and any other state should stop the process of collecting VAT until the appeal is determined." 35 Likes 3 Shares |

Buhari thought his loopsided political appointments and policies is doing the north good, but on the long-run PMB have succeeded in opening the eyes of some southern leaders in taking what belongs to them from the North. The north will suffer for PMB's crime a long time even after Buhari is long gone. Buhari's wickedness have brought a lot of disaffection on his fulani people and trusting them with power again will take a whole lot of effort and hardwork. 90 Likes 5 Shares |

FIRS is now running helter skelter all because of their self-centeredness. It will fail. But, do we say our judiciary is now working well for those wonderful judgements? 4 Likes |

![]() Good one, good judgement, let's see how the people leaching on other peoples sweat would react.... Now that this judgement has been passed, no laughing behind to do what you are meant to do... 1. Salaries should be paid in due time 2. Pensions should be paid in due time, and backlog should be cleared 3. Roads should be attended to 4. Welfare of the citizen should be paramount 5. Security should be top notch.. You have a while lot of money now to execute and finish projects, please don't let your people down... I know is going to be another avenue by some state government to embezzled, but please if you have to embezzled use 99% of the money to better the life of your citizens 6 Likes |

As long as each states utilize the VAT for the development and progress on their people. As long as it won't end in the foreign accounts of politicians in the states. We've talked about ranching many times here. This is how things are done in saner climes. Miyetti Allah need to give the good ones among their members all the re-orientation that things can be done the way it is done in civilized nations. The ONLY constant thing in life is CHANGE. The bill was not meant to attack anybody, but that it was all-embracing. Land resources were very important to the state, adding that the relationship between cattle herders and farmers should be symbiotic. A better Nigeria all around is all we want. God bless Adamawa State. God bless Nigeria. Our stand @ on everything related to this VAT issue below..... 5 Likes 4 Shares

richmond500:God bless you. I have said it before that more revenue does not necessarily translate to better service delivery. Imagine, Wike is wasting hundreds of millions all over the place but is refusing to pay pension and gratuities to elderly people who served the state all their youthful years and are now helpless! On VAT, many people are being misled into thinking only northern states will suffer if central collection by FIRS is stopped. But that's far from the truth. FG will immediately rake in over 50% of the present collection by taking all of collection on imports. At present there is only one percentage point difference between rivers(6%) and kano (5%) contribution to Vat collection. Kano, kaduna and fct contribution is more than that of SE states combined. Wike is just dancing to the gallery. 3 Likes 1 Share |
