Agony In South-East As Most Federal Roads Collapse by onumadu: 6:33am On Sep 19, 2021 |
By Vincent Ujumadu, Dennis Agbo, Steve Oko & Emmanuel Iheaka DRIVING through most of the federal roads that crisscross the South-East geopolitical zone has become very agonizing. The Enugu-Onitsha, Onitsha Owerri, Aba-Owerri, Owerri-Umuahia, Enugu-Abakaliki, Oba-Nnewi-Okigwe, among many others are in deplorable condition.https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/09/agony-in-south-east-as-most-federal-roads-collapse/ 2 Likes

There's a reason why we are passionate about Biafra. They won't understand. You can't treat Igbos like a third class citizen and expect us to be clapping for you. From economic blockage, to not appointing Igbos in the security architecture. If you are looking for a reason why Igbos are passionate about Biafra, this is one of them. IPOB simply filled the vaccum. 144 Likes 14 Shares |

Nigeria is not a union borne out of love or drive to move forward. Nigeria is like a sham marriage and those favoured will do anything to maintain their advantage. To them, they have nothing to lose! The South is seen as a fifth wheel in the carriage system...so useless to the so-called power brokers. Unfortunately, the "feeble leaders" in the South only care about their pockets at the detriment of what will benefit their region. To the southern people that support one-nigeria, answer this: if Nigeria oil were to be domiciled in the northern regions, will there still be Nigeria? 39 Likes 1 Share |

A region where the only federal presence is the army, police and other security agencies which is every 2 meters. Upon the bad roads we're being extorted without mercy. Army will be like "Na 200 naira be any money if you carry load 1000 naira" Police is 100 naira if you carry load 500. If you argue with them they'll kill you and tag you IPOB terrorist. God knows that I'll never pray for Nigeria. The only prayer I have for Nigeria is for it's disintegration. Someone who do not know what we're going thru will wake up and call us terrorists for demanding a country where we'll not be treated like Egyptian slaves. But I know the sun will and must rise in the east 79 Likes 2 Shares |
