All those attacking Nnamdi Kanu who are from the east won't see these kind of things rather they prefer to sell their heritage / conscience for 30k to talking nonsense online. The wickedness of most Nigerians needs to be studied in research centre. 7 Likes |

onumadu: Blame your governors and senators for this, don't blame the federal government, if they can't coerce the federal government to fix the federal roads in the region, then they have not business in government and should simply resign. Idiots that can even collect bribe from the ministry of works to ignore the roads. Wike is fixing federal roads in Rivers and sending the cost to the federal government. Eastern governors should do the same. It's high time people should understand that these governors are their real enemies and not the federal government 7 Likes 2 Shares |

blackpanda: This is why we need to prioritise education, so people don't come on Nairaland to embarrass themselves because they don't know the difference between state and federal. Imagine expecting the state government to use the state budget to fix a federal road which is under the federal budget. 1 Like |

Honestly, South Eastern leaders are a disgrace.. So if the Federal government refuse to fix the roads due to the obvious bad blood between the northern controlled federal government & the Igbos, cant these useless Eastern leaders do sh!t to alleviate the suffering of its people?? I wonder how people from the East elect inept phony leaders year after year who practically do not help them achieve anything or protect them... Igbos need to do much better when electing their leaders cos this is one of their major issues. Even if tomorrow Biafra is given to the Igbos, i still think the issue of leadership will still be their major problem like deja vu. 1 Like |

Theunbothered: Nothing like cursing the black man, if the States governors can't do anything about the poor state of the federal roads in their region, they should all resign and allow the competent ones to occupy the office. How many of the governors in the South East have you heard voicing out about the poor state of the federal roads in the region? Also they have senators serving in the federal level that supposed to bring it to the notice of the federal government, but all don't care. All they know is to how to collect bribes to the detriment of their region and their people, they are all useless idiots. It's high time people faced them and leave federal government alone |

Macphenson: As if the States' roads are any better. The truth is you people hate anything Government, and you choose not to be involved in Governance, hence your representatives take advantage of that and short-change you guys, in terms of developmental project, while convincing you that it's the FG's fault. This is how it's done, your representative at the NASS, sponsor a motion on the deplorable state of the road, the motion debated and included in the budget. Tell me the time any of your legislators presented a motion on bad state of roads in his constituency. |

blackpanda: Why are you just being mischievous? Those are federal government roads and before anything is done on them it has to pass through a lot of protocol and its messed up by dirty politics. If you are sincere you will know the government don't like the eastern region. Same mindset you have towards the east will be exhibited if someone like you get's to power. It amazes me we all shout one Nigeria but no love. If you love your neighbors, you will ensure that the federal government do the right things. 3 Likes |

When u ask some people what Buhari has done they will tell y he is constructing second Niger bridge. A bridge that is meant to accelerate the running away of people from the east after they get tired of all the bad roads and lack of government presence in the east 3 Likes |

ogwumgbe: Are you okay? What is the MINSTER OF WORKS supposed to be doing? Is he in Canada and doesn't ply Nigerian roads? He doesn't open newspapers or even call people in the affected states? This is solely the responsibility of the federal government to maintain and you're blaming the state for not telling the government how to do it's job? ![]() I ask again who cursed the black man? ![]() 1 Like |
