temi1290: He is good player but world class is a massive stretch. He hasn't been able to get enough minutes nor the consistency to be regarded as such. I agree with the sentiments of the moniker regarding how underappreciated he is on here, but let's not use the term "World Class" so loosely. 1 Like |

temi1290:What is your definition of world class? Iheanacho when given the chance has delivered. The term "world class" is a player who is consistent week in week out. Messi has not done anythibg at PSG since his signing..does that mean he is not World Class? In a tournament a team of "Average", "Carpenters" can disgrace a team of World class players. The term World class is over rated. |

TheGoodJoe: I very much doubt if Ferguson had half of Rodgers bias because he achieved a lot in his career.... Rodgers own is quite obvious and it has gotten in the way of his team success many times... it isn't even just the bias...it's his inability to utilise certain players well..... |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 7:14am On Sep 23, 2021 |
Danielnino00: Rodgers can utilize players well but he is just bias to a fault. Alex Ferguson's bias was beyond belief. A good example was how he treated Pique. Pique was miles ahead of Johnny Evans in talent but Alex Ferguson kept playing Evans and left Pique on the bench. The few chances he gave Pique, he performed well but Ferguson kept dropping him to the bench. In 2008, Manchester United won the Champions League, Pique played well in the game against Roma. Scored. Yet, Pique did not receive a champions league medal because he did not play enough games. Ferguson could not bring him as subs to gain medal. Ferguson was bias alarmingly but still brilliant. |

TheGoodJoe: Rodgers doesn't know how to utilize players! I put it to you... At Liverpool,he signed up to 33 players..more than half of them turned out as flops! And to make it worse,he couldn't get the board to sign the players he wanted.... Ferguson had his fault, but very few will remember him for being bias because his achievement speak for him... |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:49am On Sep 23, 2021 |
Danielnino00: Ferguson's achievements does not change that he was filled with bias and sentiments. As for Rodgers, his draw back is that he is sentimental. Ferguson could have achieved more but his successes covers it. Remember Rodgers is not working for a big side. He is performing above his weight with Leicester City. However, if he pulls aside his sentiments, he would do far better with his brilliance and talents at his disposal. |

Zambians are gonna crash the Internet for Patson the son of Daka. They are annoyed that Kelechi went for a thunderbolt instead of passing to a not-so-well positioned Daka. I even read that KC begged them not to vex, that he would pass to Daka next time. 6 Likes |

andrewbaba44:Even in any league,to score 30 league goals is not easy at all. Anyone who is able to score 30 goals in a single season in any league have my respect. Is messi, ronaldo and lewandoski's goals revolutions that is making people think is easy to score even 20 goals in a season. |
