North will continue ruling in 2023 if the other southerners cannot forge a common front and back Igbo presidency. Igbos did it for Obasanjo and GEJ. Let SW support Igbo presidency to show southern unity. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Who told you people to support obasanjo in the first place? Answer pls. The Yoruba largerly supported olu falae and the results of the election were strongly criticized by many, particularly the Yoruba who wanted obasanjo to be punished for what he did to Awo so why did you support obasanjo? mrvitalis: In 1998 PDP zoned South.. Alex Ekweume and Obasanjo contested, in 2003 Obasanjo , Orji Uzor Kalu and Okorocha contested Southern 2003 zoning In 2007 Yar'Adua from NorthWest contested with other Northern zones for North ticket In 2019 Atiku from North East battled Saraki NC and Tambuwal NW So it's either SouthEast battles other region for PDP southern Ticket or sell their right to North/ SouthSouth combination. As for APC they have no stake 19 Likes 1 Share |

mightyhaze: You and your ilk think you are wise, but na una mumu pass. This your request is very very stupid nonsensical. Why should Yorubas be the ones to 'look for one igbo man... and support him'? Like seriously?? Were igbos the ones that 'looked' for and drafted OBJ into the Presidential race in '99? There's absolutely no precedent for what you are asking. Why didn't igbos compel Alex Ekwueme and other igbos that faced OBJ in the PDP primaries not to contest against him? Look here. Interested Yorubas will contest the upcoming APC presidential primaries, and with or without the support of the igbos in the party, a Yoruba candidate will emerge as the APC flag-bearer. That's how bold and confident Yorubas are about their ambition. No be Yoruba people fault say ibos dey fear to contest against Atiku for the PDP ticket. Dat one na una fvcking business, e no consign us . But this wack and played out attempt to blackmail and guilt-trip yorubas for rightfully aspiring for the presidency under the APC is DOA. Kolewerk. Y'all can go ahead and do your worst. 28 Likes 2 Shares |

ODVanguard:Choked bleat,lol.. After bleating yourself hoarse you return the favor.. it's called being gentlemanly, inordinate greed will always meet a brick wall Don't forget that the likes of orji kalu way back as 1999 supported obj a yorobaman with 600m.. can u fathom today's value of that? So all those effort from Igbo sons is just so yorobà can sit perpetually and enjoy all southern slot abi? They couldn't even wait for Jonathan to complete his term. Greedy lots 4 Likes 1 Share |

mightyhaze: Yimu. If wanting and aiming for the Presidency makes Yorubas 'greedy', then so be it . But you dare not accuse your Fulani masters of the same now, would you? Anyway, your opinion ain't worth sheet, so knock yourself out. If ibos aren't 'greedy' enough to want the Presidency by boldly throwing their hats in the ring, especially under the PDP they've slaved for over many years, then you people should stfu and step aside, and watch from the sidelines while the big boys contest for the office. We full ground, and una no reach to stop a moving train, lest y'all get smashed to smithereens. 23 Likes 2 Shares |

There is nothing like Southern unity and there can never be one. You people should stop using that line as an excuse.. and Btw, SE should stop blackmailing SW. This is politics. If you guys have what it takes, demand for presidency under Pdp. GEJ and SS in general have moved on from 2015 defeat, SE should do same and stop bugging us 14 Likes |

South East don't know how to play politics....the only person to help east to get apc presidential ticket his tinubu... Instead of them to gather and work with him... Consult him and go on negotiation.. after then meet with the northern leaders... That's all.. very simple... They thought everything must be decide by the northerners....ibwish them good luck.. 10 Likes |

Odingo1: I didn't know that we have a presidential aspirant named Igbo Presidency! Where is he or she from? Your suggestions above, which is sadly echoed for or against by an overriding number of Nigerians, is why this country will never make it. A year and half to a general elections, not ONE Igbo person has come out to declare him or herself as presidential aspirant in any political party but we are expected to agree to vote for a "Person X" so long he or she is Igbo! No thoughts to political ideology, economic plans and aspirations, party alignment, manifesto etc, just pure unadulterated ethnic identity politics?! Yet the lot of you daily accuse President Buhari of alleged nepotism! Is your suggestion not the most nepotistic like this? That we should just accept upfront to vote for any Igbo John Doe who declares his presidential aspirations in the future? This is the worst form of affirmative action from a people who daily accuse the Northerners of quota system!!! As for me, if there is ever any Igbo candidate for president, an absence of a long history of criticizing IPOB/MASSOB/Biafran agitation guarantees that such a fellow will NEVER get my vote as a patriotic Nigerian! And I do believe that my reasoning above is shared by many Nigerians. Igbo elite will either embrace Nigeria wholeheartedly or seek their Biafra openly. No fencist will get my vote. 7 Likes |

Odingo1: Absolutely Correct, it beat my imagination how the south west will be clamoring for the presidency after Obasanjo 8years and also osibanjo 8years. Any southern demand for presidency must be anchored on equity and fairness, which demands that the south east must produce the president. NO MORE NO LESS. Let us not make the mistake of playing into the hands of the north 2 Likes 1 Share |
