@Justwise and all, I was the one who that shared my refusal letter some weeks back. I got very useful advice from here. At a point I wanted to give up but God came through. Got a new CAS and re-applied, decision came out positive in 7days. Thanks to everyone and particularly those that suggested I apply for a new CAS rather than AR.

Honestly, your comment is spot on!!! People that are doing the honest and right thing are being denied, while those 'arranging POF' are being granted. Strange stuff right there.

Thanks for your advice. I plan to contact the school on this on Monday. In my case, I sent the letter from Prodigy Finance to the Finance team and they have ticked off the finance condition for me earlier this month. I am optimistic that by God's grace, the school would give me a receipt evidencing receipt of that amount (though disbursement is not till October) so I can use in lieu of the loan letter.

This is why I am grateful for this thread and everyone who is willing to contribute and share their experiences (positive or negative). God bless you all.

I would keep the house updated on developments so that others can also be guided.

@Tolvin hang in there. Do you still have some time for late resumption? Please speak to your school....I believe it is not yet the end.

I know this question may have been answered before, forgive me for repeating it; I want like the name of four UK universities that can allow one start off a masters degree with HND. I've seen some offering one-year pre-masters but if someone can proceed straight to masters that'll save some good money.

For Prodigy Finance to disburse the funds to the school, you'd need to have arrived on campus to sign the loan agreement. So, no disbursement till you get to the university and there's no way you can get to the school without having received your visa. Hence, the visa application. A friend of mine used Prodigy for Netherlands visa application and he got it. But the UK is different from the Netherlands.

I honestly want to believe it's an error from the ECO and I would have applied for AR but I had to return the funds in my bank account and my passport had exactly 8months to expiration when I applied for my visa. If I had applied for AR, my passport would be less than six months to expiration.However, you can get a letter from the university attesting to the Prodigy Finance loan letter.

I have deferred my admission to January entry and I will get the full funds in my bank account to present to UKVI.

I actually had thesame loan letter and I presented it to them. You can go ahead to apply with an additional letter from the school if that could help or you decide the get the full funds, wait for 28days and apply. I pray everything comes out successful

Thank God for a safe trip. Please I need some clarification from you....Are you still in Nigeria? Did you apply with your wife and children? I know the rules require both parents to apply with the children at the same time or one parent must already be in the UK.

Just want to be properly guided on how best to go about this to meet the 'serious and compelling' condition under the UKVI rules why my daughter has to travel with me without her father. I originally wanted to apply with only my daughter but seems I cannot do that with ease.

Thank you very much. I was really down when the rejection came in and I was almost getting depressed. But I had to move forward. I wasn't certain of the outcome from AR as I definitely knew that I couldn't hold on to the funds in my bank account indefinitely. Plus, I can't apply for AR anymore as it's already past 6weeks. That's why I decided to defer my admission to January entry instead.
