"Entreat" clearly means begging (ask someone earnestly or anxiously to do something)

When you are begging, you are not giving an Advice.

You are throwing yourself down so that the Person being begged will give you your request knowing that He has the Right to refuse to grant it and where He refuses to grant it, there is nothing you can do.

This does not happen when rendering an advice.
