The ESN never went after security agents. The ESN was formed to stop the grazing of cattle in farmlands in the SE which was usually marked by killings of the farmers which they did until the sympathizers of the killer herders in government sent the police to stop the ESN which the police met with stiff resistance. The police (in collaboration with the army) in their shame turned against the innocent indigenes of the SE killing innocent bystanders and passersby.

Note that by then, the ESN had retreated.

Then furthermore in a grand plot, they decided to bring in their foot soldiers which they tagged as "unknown gun men" to first of all target security operatives to make it look like it was the work of IPOB/ESN and many Igbo residents ignorantly applauded them not knowing they were actually the real enemies of Ndigbo. Few Igbos like me who scrutinized those attacks on security agents without the admittance of Nnamdi Kanu or ESN after every strike smelt a rat and came to the conclusion that those gun men were not ESN/IPOB but paid agents "from the top".

After they finished with the security agents, they turned on civilians.

If there is anything to prove this, what has Late Dora Akunyili's husband said or did in he past to disapprove or deride IPOB that will make them turn on him and kill him? Nothing!
