I bought a curve 4 BB @ slot (new) for 46.5k last week wednesday and am having 2 issues namely,

The phone gets unusually hot when in usage (within 10 mins of browsing or chatting) and

The battery drops monumentally, i have been charging like two time a day.

I reported at Slot on Tuesday but was told that they need to reload the operating system or something, do u think that is the solution.

Please help, 46k no be small money for our nai

Bt most tyms its neva dere until i switch off wit d red button n switch on agn. It kums n dn vanishes afta sum time. I av observed wn i try 2 launch apps lyk ucweb n 2go n mayb try to stream a video,it quickly vanishes. N 1 mur tin hw cn i upgrade my firmware cos my device restarts on its own at times n hw cn i install BB OS6 on my tour. Tnx

ok go to options on ur blackberry,open it then scrow down to memory,click on it when its opens just try an enable ur memory card. Hope to hear from u soon

I use a curve 3g and have not been able to download movies with it. I keep gettin dis: http error 403: forbidden, you are not authorised to view this page. This always happens and is not funny. Again I've not been able to use my appworld. Wheneva I try to download anything from there,it always says 'backberry identity update needed'm if I click to install,it will immediately show 'blackberry identity installation failed,pls try again later'. I'm really tired of tryin and missin out on exciting applications. Pls help. And not least, d fone hangs every now and den and could somtyms hang for up to a minute. It really isn't funny. Expectin ur reply,thanks.

I can't ping or do anyblackberry stuffs aside from normal calls and texts. Dere is noffin in the fones service book so i fink that wia d prob is, i hav called mtn and even etisalat for dem to help me send the service book but to no avail. Plz if any1 knws hw to do it manually or from the internet plz share it and possible links. My phone and BIS is wasting i beg u.

i tried to place a call on my blackberry bold 9900 phone then i found out d phone is off and i charged it up a bit to turn it up and when it eventually came up, it freeze..after a hard reset it finally boots half way and wouldn't finish up..its totally not coming up again, No red light flashing ,not charging and my PC cant detect the Device

@ Uncle B, thanks for your help on †ђξ upgrading of curve 3 from OS 5 to OS 6. I have done dat successfully but I v just two issues now...the icon for blackberry app world s missing and even blackberry protect won't come up.
