The 4231 and 3412 suit us better. If we must play iheanacho then we should switch to a 3412 formation. Trying to accommodate iheanacho by playing him slightly behind the striker in a 4411 system is killing our expansive wing play and to me this system isn't the best. Our wingers cannot express their self better in a 4411 system.

I do not subscribe to this gist that wingers should be crossing ball, that's job for fullbacks

Big advice to Onyeka is that he should work more with the defenders. He should understand the defenders are his primary duty.

Although I can't blame him too much because it seems he played to instructions. However, going forward, I hope he can add a different dimension to the team.

Onyeka should keep in mind when the defenders are with the ball, his primary function at that time is to create passing options for them.

When the ball gets to him, his primary function is not to lose the ball.

How does he not lose the ball? Watch, watch, watch.

If you are close to an opposing player, don't hold the ball. Pass back to either the defender or keeper. As soon as he does that, the role changes to creating passing line.

When not marked, find the most free player in space and deliver the ball.

Iheanacho is not a renowned striker neither is he a midfielder, he is just a good player who doesn't want to adjust his play to modern football
