Will beat any team bwahahahahahahaha

Guy let’s be realistic na the formation they play the ball or the players ?
On a good day, we have players who can stand any team. We just have a coach who's scared to exert himself and change approach to the game.....Too conservative, no urgency in our play.

No ever down grade any team until you beat them.
Football 101

343 is a wonderful offensive and defensive formation.

But with our crops of players we’ll only disgrace that formation

Bros i done look this thing well well.
We are not a ball possesion(passing in triangles, tiki taka etc) team. We need to raise and teach another generation of players for that.

That’s what I’m saying right from the early days till now.

It’s either wait for individual brilliance to save us, or bulldoze our way till we get a goal. Or cross and head.

Ignorant folks here be thinking we got style of play, like when that one start ? Nigeria and style of play are 2 different entities.

None of our npfl team has style of play not to talk of super eagles

Anyone that put kelechi again as a 10 deserve castration or public flogging Wtf enough is enough. This is how coaches ruin players. How can you put a renowned striker as a midfielder and expect a good performance

Players like nancho can thrive well as SS if we have a midfield of mikel and ndidi at the centre less of that he can barely thrive as SS even Iwobi can't help the midfield much such system save in a 3 2 3 1 system where Iwobi will play behind the striker

To play a 3@ the back against a team wanting to hit you on a counter is a wise thing.
Frank remains, take off collins for Awaziem and give aribo more freedom to get in the box.7

Cc.kentebemoney

I have no problems with the formation but your players choice is definitely a source of concern. How many times are we gonna reiterate it to you guys that Kelechi is not a 10 ? Unless you have a proper midfield controller in that selection (or even Iwobi) your team will struggle but you can win with individual brilliance because the team is loaded with many gifted players. I am inclined to suggest we play Ejuke a 10.

Since he won’t be training the players week in and week out, it’ll be hard for a new coach to drop his philosophy on the players
Should that mean a coach isn't necessary then? Since the players will be merely staying together for a few days.

This is such a cope. No one sees North Africans as Africans, not even they themselves. Algeria's success will not reflect on the Sub-Saharan countries that form the vast majority of CAF.

Is he really a key player? Does the team suffer in his absence? I get that he has insane finishing but does his all round game warrant players playing in uncomfortable positions so he could fit in, my answer is no, so to the bench he goes

The bolded is spot on. But remind me of the last time we did this under Rohr.
TheGoodJoe:

So if a team decides to play with a low block, do you think it is advisable to try to break them down with long balls from the defense? grin

Wa lai, this Rohr is a comedian. cheesy

Playing long balls to a low block defense is playing to their advantage. You use long balls against teams pressing you. You use long balls to exploit gaps when a team has lost shape in their defensive third.

When a team plays a tight low block, you use intricate passing to put them in disarray, create gaps, and exploit the gaps.

Which player is played in an uncomfortable position for Iheanacho? It has to do with the application. We don't have a playing platform and play Iheanacho and Osimhen because they are our most prominent hitmen.

Rhor is not shoe horning Nacho into the system. Rhor plays what he thinks are the best players. That causes disarray in plays. Not the player.

By the way, apart from Iwobi, which of the current players in our midfield set up is a better passer to the attackers than Iheanacho?

That tells you a lot.

The Algeria players aren't necessarily better than what we have but try to compare our production to theirs.

What do you think Amunike, Manu Garba, and Siasia did all these years? We built a free-flowing possessive generation. Unfortunately, Pinnick lacks the vision of Maigari and opted for a coach that will not toe the line.

Watch the build-up and possessive play in our 2013 U17 first game against Mexico which Chidebere Nwakali scored and see how advanced our play was.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is known for using unorthodox coaching methods - and it hasn't taken him long to introduce a number of unusual drills at the club's Cobham training facility this week.

The 47-year-old, who was announced as Chelsea boss on Monday after the club decided to sack Frank Lampard from his role as first team coach after 18 months seasons in charge, was thrown into the deep end against a strong Wolves outfit just two days later.

It was evident that despite having such little time to have an impact on his new team, Tuchel was clear in his methods. Chelsea had 78.9% possession and completed 820 passes against Nuno Espirito Santo's side; the highest since 2003/04 for a manager in their first Premier League game.

https://www.sportbible.com/football/news-reactions-take-a-bow-thomas-tuchel-has-introduced-unusual-training-methods-at-chelsea-20210130

Two days, Tuchel was able to impart enough knowledge in the Chelsea team to transform their play.

Don't think if Tuchel or Guardiola was coaching this Super Eagles all these years we will be playing like this.

This is why I believe our youth teams should be integrated into the senior team immediately. There is this lack of continuity between our youth teams and our main team.
Even now players like Samson tijani, akinkunmi amoo etc should be integrated.
