Pls I’d like to know if I can change my NOC after several months of submitting my express entry profile. I just realized there’s a more fitting NOC for my job description. Both have overlapping duties and might as well merge the two together for me. Problem is they are not in same category but same field (Agriculture). The one I intend to change to is Category 0 while the one I chose presently is Category A. Will this affect my application now or while processing? Will it affect my job seeker validation code?
Thank you

Several considerations;

Is the one you submitted a good fit e.g. more than 80% match even if you have found a "better fit"?

Have you already passed eligibility? Check GCMS notes, what stage is your app at? If it is fully approved, why bother?

Someone has done it in the past, see this post: https://www.nairaland.com/5031893/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/361#77696431 but IRCC of 2 years ago and IRCC now may be different animals.

Edit: this is post AOR NOC change advise

Nothing can be done to an ineligible profile, so you have no choice than to open another profile.

Thank you for the response.
Also, in my application, can I change the name of the company used for working experience since I’m opening a new profile?

Please I need help....has anyone registered an EE profile with 6.5 as the least band recently? Please guide me, it keeps saying I'm ineligible

Yes, I've seen someone with a 6.0 in reading get in the pool. There is probably a question or questions you didn't answer well. Try it again and read all questions well before providing a response.

5.5. In listening is CLB6

You need at least CLB7 in each of the 4 parts LRSW to be eligible...meaning CLB7 in all 4 at a minimum Pls calmly digest page 1 for more info.

Your ND and HND is an advantage for EE, FSW route, just read through Page 1 and ask questions on what you don't understand. We would be willing to help.

Thanks so much. I'm currently having issues paying for WES. "unable to process your selected payment method" keeps popping up

Also, will my wife fill in her father's name which she used as her family name when she was in school or she will use mine.

Thanks.

Thanks to the rigid rule, our cards can't process any transaction that is more than $100. You will have to pay via Flutterwave. Your wife should fill in her name exactly as it is in her international passport and then she can back it up with her marriage certificate if she is currently using your name on her passport.

Ok, you mean she can use my name on the WES instead of her father's name that is on the school certificate?

Thanks so much

I meant she should use the name on her international passport. Whatever is there is what she should use in filling her Wes application. What name is she using on her passport? Maiden or marital name? Married people please help me out here. Dimple, GraciousWords

100% correct.

Jimisola14:

She is using her marital name on her international passport.

Use that for ECA and all other EE-FSW processes, as it's her current identity. Any institution that needs to link the two names may ask for marriage certificate as proof.
