Please ma'am ignore every of those words.
On behalf of everyone that insulted you please let it pass.
We are all here to help and do our bit regarding this case.
You're a good woman Ms Sandy and no one can take that from you.
GOD bless you.

Bro, no need for this. We were overwhelmed with emotions. I believe that's the case here.
This time we are seeking help, solutions that will vindicate the victim, let's leave the past behind so we can all work together to achieve our objective.
Thanks for your understanding.

reasonable evidence suggests that she said that word based on premeditation, coming out to make apologies after saying that is useless because the damage has already been done, and its like making apologies to someone after pulling the trigger of a gun and raining bullets at him.

We consider serious issues casually in this country as youths; and we still wonder why, after negotiating that hectic traffic circle, Nigeria is where it is today.

If 1stGenAmerican can be persuaded to meticulously go through the judgment of court and is convinced that there's room for reasonable doubt, then I think PowerHouse5050 should approach David Hundeyin and see if he can convince him to get his story out there. I'm sure this will give his case the much needed exposure he wants.

However, this should only be done if the OP is sure he is truly innocent, because if David can be persuaded to take on this case, he will go through it with a finetoothed comb and might even unearth untendered evidence.

If OP knows deep-down that he's guilty and is hoping to get off on a technicality, then all I can say is good luck with that. But, free advice, it'd be better to show true remorse and appeal for a more lenient sentence.

Apologies, ma'am.
We all (especially those attacking you) want justice for this man. We also, equally want justice for the victim. Now, if someone is found guilty and unjustly convicted of a rape crime he never committed, that cannot serve as justice for neither the victim, the wrongly accused/convicted nor the rapist who if that's the case is still at large.

I believe, ma'am, that you do not hate this man, and neither do you want an innocent man pay heavily for a crime he never committed. You however let your emotions cloud your judgments. Your goal initially was to get justice for the victim, rather than getting the justice served to the right person; understandably because you're a mother. But no mother would wish for a rapist be roaming freely, while an innocent man wrongly imprisoned.

See pls the reason to help in this case, as you are in a better position to than all of us.

Something tells me this man is innocent, otherwise, he would have given up on the fight to prove his innocence.

MR. BAH
If you are truly guilty as charged, it will never be well with you in this life and after for the trauma the victim went through and also for stressing those helping you.

These posters are acting as though I was going to be paid for my services when in fact I had finally willed myself to assist with something that would is extremely time-consuming FREE OF CHARGE. I am almost positive that person that you are responding to as well as the others expressing disdain at his choice DO NOT have the money to even BEGIN TO pay someone to do work that no one else will be willing to do FOR FREE but I am sure that they will prove me wrong. WHO ON EARTH would be stupid AND evil enough to spend hundreds of billable hours working on a case for no pay only to sabotage said case? No one.

Apparently, the television programs that these posters continued to reference has taught them more about the US Justice system than my years of law school, internship, and practice has taught me.

The truth is that despite what is submitted by the man seeking relief, when anyone who can assist in a real capacity is located that person will pull the official case files just as I did. One they briefly review those files, they won’t lift a finger to help without an upfront retainer of at least $7,000 USD in GUARANTEED FUNDS. And keep in mind that will not cover much so that person will require another payment to continue. Knowing this, they still balked at free help so who am I to stop people from handling a situation that they know best about?

To others: Now that I have made it CLEAR that you are now free to locate and obtain help that they find suitable, there is no need to continue to disparage me. Instead, use your time to secure help for the convicted. I am excited to see the fruits of your efforts.

Victim Card? I’m playing the victim because you don’t want me to do thousands of dollars worth of work for free? Surely you are a madman.
You want me to do even more digging and analyzing on my time for free for the sole purpose of impressing people, many of which won’t be contributing one copper penny to this man’s cause? Yes, you ARE a madman.

Your wish has already been granted as I will not be providing him with free legal services. At this point, I need you to stop disparaging me and channel all of that hot wind into bolstering up the sails of action.

This is the best example of rational and critical thinking to grace this thread. I can tell that this poster has extensive knowledge of legal systems in Western countries. Pity that such voices were overpowered by barks not backed up with bite.
