Preshyi: Well, I was advised by a senior family friend that, I as a dependent should just try take up any job in as much as it’s bringing in lots of money for us to clear off our debts (school debts and money borrowed to aid our traveling) and after my wife studies when the financial burden will be lesser, then we should focus on looking for specific jobs that will help aid out stay, but for now we should focus on making money. So, I don’t know if you could apply this also, Tho, it doesn’t stop the dependant to be pursuing other better offers, |

mrcodebreaker:For me in my 2 contract roles so far, it's been 1 interview each. The second role was 1 and half. The half was for them to see me in person and lasted less than 20mins because I extended it with my questions so that my transport fare will not waste. That's one of the advantages of contracting. I hate long recruitment processes. Modified. Actually all my jobs in the UK, Permanent and Contract have been 1 interview only. 2 Likes |

wonlasewonimi:Currently a Perm. I had an assessment which deemed me then to be inside but the implementation was postponed so I and others appealed. That contract has ended now and I am back to perm. Looking to go back though even if I am deemed inside IR35, this permanent thing is not working for me. 1 Like |

Orazly:Call Dante to cancel and request for a refund. Then call NHS to request for test kit. It's free of charge but expect their visit any time and also, your quarantine starts from the day they deliver the test kits. Good luck. |

Aminess1: When I mentioned earlier about single occupancy, we got contrary opinions from others, about entitlements about the spouse......... Pay the 75% in peace......... As stated, the rental agreement should be in your name (I say no more)..... Before justwise says we are encouraging illegal behaviors........... About the car, loads of places to buy cars...... Ebay, gumtree, dealers, Facebook marketplace etc etc The checks YOU MUST undertake, was listed in a previous post....... Hunt down post from previous thread....... Ensure you declare right details to insurance company, after you get a quote from confused.com, moneysupermarket, compare the market etc...... Put a phone call through to them, to ensure all details are accurate....... Your insurance would be declared null & void, at the point of any claim, if any discrepancy is noted........ 3 Likes 3 Shares |

mrcodebreaker:It is actually IT but very specialised (Telecoms) and limited hence why I am looking to go into the tech side. There was a time I didn't have a gig but luckily my contract "savings" saw me through. I am perm now because I didn't find a contract role plus I had hope to hit a jackpot so I can retire. Well long and short of it is that I am back to work and retirement is postponed . wonlasewonimi:I agree. But it is not for everyone. 2 Likes 1 Share |
