Blessings001: Infact, you don’t even need a visa to go to the UK. Just buy ticket. Enter aeroplane. Land in the UK and begin living your life. 5 Likes |

Good morning, all. Please I need some insight on British Citizenship. Can a child born in the UK while his/her parents have Tier2 visa (before receiving ILR), claim/become a UK citizen after the parents have stayed for five years and received the ILR? For instance, the parents had just spent one year in the UK after coming in with a three-year Teir 2 visa and gave birth in the second year of the visa. Can they apply and get citizenship for the child after five years of stay and receiving the ILR? Thanks. |

Please, I need the link to apply for the vacancies for foreign workers from abroad (fruit pickers etc,) that are highly in demand. Someone close to me needs this help. Thanks in advance |

Trajan: The ‘unwritten’ expectation for those fruit pickers is that they would come from Europe , especially Eastern Europe. I really doubt if the UK Govt has Africa (esp Nigeria) in mind for those fruit picker and HGV drivers visas… But, what do I know? 7 Likes |

Lexusgs430: I was paying the 75% until I read it here I did not have to. Sharp, I sent my council mail, took them a while to respond but they did and asked for proof. Sent the same letter I had used for 25% discount to them with brp of my partner and I. Long story short, I am not paying council tax till March even though I finished school this September as they applied the already paid to the unpaid. Send your council a mail please. NB, House was rented in both my partner and I's name but does not cost you anything in sending an inquiry. 6 Likes |

Good evening everyone, just need some clarity... must I get a provisional license before I can take lessons with an instructor? ? I'm still within my 1year of being allowed to use the intl license. but I need to switch asap as I start work in Jan and it is a requirement (they have given me some laxity here, I def need the license and we both agreed I need to start working towards a UK license). I was thinking of taking lessons with instructors while still having my intl as I understand that once I get a provisional, the intl becomes void. Is this legal? |

mizGene: There was someone here who got into some hot waters for using an international license after getting the provisional license. I can't recall the specifics but I think your international license becomes invalid immediately you're issued the provisional license and if you were to be in any sort of accident the insurance won't cover you. Others may have full details but beware. 1 Like |

kode12: Thanks. Now that you mention it, I faintly recall that story, the guy got a fine of 10k..... I may have to just get as many informal lessons as I can so that I can take the tests soon after getting a provisional.. 1 Like |
