Bro, even if you have some kind of doubt about someone who has continuously maintained the fact that he’s trying to help the convicted fellow out of sheer compassion and belief that he might be innocent, why can’t you just leave him and stop casting aspersions on his intentions?

You believe that the convicted fellow his guilty as charged, someone else is trying to be neutral and possibly help out in anyway he can, you and your ilks keeps throwing insults at him. This shows lack of discernment to me.

I have been on the sideline, and even though I don’t think I believe the convicted fellow is totally innocent, I still think it’s wrong to continue to disparage people like chantinent who are just trying to make sense of the whole stuff and try to help as much as possible.

In all we do, we should always accept the fact that we would always meet diversity in people’s opinions and beliefs and no matter how logically sound one is, emotions have a lot to do with people’s reasoning all over the world.

Seeing Brian Banks (a recent film representation of a true life story) made understand that truly the American system is not entirely infallible ( although I still strongly appreciate the strong institutions they’ve).

I can only wish the convicted fellow peace if he truly deserves it. If not, I rest my case!

Bruh I can’t put this Bah guy in the same category as the ones you named especially since he has tried to scam Nairalander’s with a gold scheme and he lied up n down this thread. To me a man who is innocent and really wants help is going to tell the truth to people who want to help him but he just told lies after lies. Even a criminal that was helped by people to narrowly escape from rotten in prison is abusing someone trying to prove his own innocence. Yes, properly constituted but flawed nonetheless and that is apparent in the number of those that have been EXONERATED not CONVICTED (like your client here) by DNA evidence. All these people you mentioned, were they convicted by DNA evidence? What % of that 2400 figure were convicted (I didn’t say exonerated o!) by DNA evidence? Since we are on the topic of name calling, I’m not sure if anyone noticed but Mr. Adedoja Olaniyi Bah called me a clown and jeered at me for living in a wooden house (which I don’t) after I gave him sincere advice. Actually, I gave Mr. Adedoja Olaniyi Bah several pieces of great advice free of charge but of course the general consensus felt as if I was trying to set him up. I’m no genius but I might know a few things.

Of course Mr. Adedoja Olaniyi Bah did not heed any of my advice nor did he stop to take many things into consideration. Out of many things that Mr. Adedoja Olaniyi Bah failed to consider or even imagine was that Google alerts is a favorite of some entities here in the US. Allegedly, a few people in a few departments have been getting alerts when the name “Adedoja Olaniyi Bah” as well as his previous name AND his alias appears in a new web entry. Additionally, this thread appears on the first page near the top of the results of a Google search.

To make a long story short, apparently those responsible for Mr. Adedoja Olaniyi Bah fate have been aware of this thread for a while which basically tells me that they have viewed and archived his “evidences” as well as versions of the truth that contradict previous versions of the “truth” given by him. In essence, he has given those tasked with keeping him behind bars a good headstart on doing just that.

But surely the cunning convicted man knew this before I did.

The issue with peeps like you is quite obvious and I have mentioned it again and again; lack of discernment. There’s no way in my postulations did I mention conspiracy theory neither did I in anyway suggested the convicted fellow is innocent.

Remember chatinent mentioned that the DNA evidence came unsealed? I don’t know if it’s true or not but that’s not something to think off.

All the cases I mentioned were not conspiracies as some was even a black on black issue, and again I am not mentioning you because I want you to believe the convicted fellow, for heck sake, I don’t in anyway believe in him too. But issue of innocence or not in this type of case at times has to do with open mindedness if one truly claim to be logical.

Remember, there’s factual and actual innocence? A convicted person might be factually or actually innocent. Actual innocence is when someone else comes up to admit to the crime while factual innocence is when facts available proves the defendant innocent. In this case, the convicted fellow is factually guilty as charged and might probably (please note the word might - the American system has witnessed a lot of this in the recent past) be actually innocent of this particular crime he has been convicted of.

The antecedents of the convicted fellow is not convincing enough neither is his purported demeanour both at the hearing and here on nairaland but still that doesn’t mean he can’t be innocent. Please brother, learn to always be open minded, it would do you a lot of good. And also don’t always see opposing opinions as an “attack” especially on a public forum.

Most importantly, I am not and never will be a supporter to heinous crimes the convicted fellow has been factually convicted to have committed but as a human, I would always be open minded and give room for human errors in any judicial system or process in the face of earth.

Bruh I can’t put this Bah guy in the same category as the ones you named especially since he has tried to scam Nairalander’s with a gold scheme and he lied up n down this thread. To me a man who is innocent and really wants help is going to tell the truth to people who want to help him but he just told lies after lies. My spirit tells me that the people trying to help him will find that he told even more lies than I’m talking about.
That FirstgenAmerican and George guy said that this story was heavy on the news in America and the George guy went back to his powerful activist friend on twitter and told him just what he told us, that the man is full of sh&t.
In the whole America nobody wan help this guy after all these time has passed he came to Nairaland becos he knows most don’t live in America and didn’t know the whole story.

Lol! You’re saying the convicted fellow thinks nairaland members are fools that cant make enquiries and get information themselves, I actually don’t think that’s the case, because if it’s so, he won’t be here expecting help from nairaland members.

I think the convicted fellow has a quite dubious character and might (20-50% for me) not be guilty of this particular crime, but circumstances and facts available has put him in this situation already and he’s hoping to get out of it by some kind of governmental/media influence through this medium.

Ordinarily, his type of case can’t be overturned except there’s an entirely new evidence and his antecedent on this forum cast a big aspersion on him and his true identity.

And just to be clear, I never compared those mentioned cases with the convicted fellow case, I only pointed to them to let the OP I quoted understand that the American system truly is not entirely infallible.

I have always maintained an open mind towards this which is why I have always asked questions and demanded for more facts.

I can't just take a stand by hearing only from Mr. Bah even the courts don't work that way.

I believe everything Mr. Bah said and presented here has already been discussed in court...

And the persecutors also presented their own arguments and pieces of evidence which no one here has seen or heard.

The courts have seen pieces of evidence we haven't, they have taken the statements of persons we haven't heard from...

So it is extremely premature for those jumping on the court made mistake bandwagon.

Yes mistakes happen but also note...

Countless persons wrongly accussed and convicted for years have been exonerated by dna evidence once advancements in dna testings were made.

The true allele that was used to convict him has also been used by others to prove thier innocence exonerating them from crimes they have spent long years in jail for (I have earlier shared the link to this).

So like I have said before, I cannot partake on any campaign to prove the innocence of anyone until I have reviewed all the facts of the case (which in this case I haven't and doubt anyone here has either).

Why?

Because even when this goes to appeal, Mr. Bah won't just present his pieces of evidence and call it a day.

They persecutors would also do the same.

And none of us have seen the evidence that was used to nail him in the first trail but Mr. Bah has and reasons best known to him, he has decided not to reveal them.

Is it foolproof? Hell to the No!!!

Countless very important questions have been thrown your way but this your comment now confirms that you decide which ones to answer and which ones to ignore.

Someone asked earlier about the dna from the facial swap but till now you haven't said anything about it.

Including the reported cctv footage which showed Mr. Bah chasing the victim.

Mr. Bah driving the car the suspect was spotted leaving the crime scene with.

I just hope in court, when the persecutors ask similar questions, you would be allowed to only answer the ones you deem important.

Just finished reading the first article the boys mother shared the transcripts with those willing to help and while reviewing it, the errors where discovered and a dna retest was done.

I have said this countless, no one can determine if an error or mistake was made without properly going through and reviewing the transcripts.
