Please dear, whatever is best for you and lo should be paramount in your decision making irrespective of what anyone thinks. Would you rather do your mom in law's wish at the detriment of your own or babies life?
Decide what's best for you and go for it, besides your mil need not to know until after the procedure has been done. I wish you all the best.

I'm fine o teamie and you? It's like my baby has decided I must not eat which is the main reason for my weakness. My prayer has been answered so I'll bear it with God's help.
How about you? Hope baby is cutting you some slack?

Less than 5 mins after I got back to my theatre and baby was put to lie close to me, I noticed he wasn't breathing well.

Although still very very numb, I couldn't move, I tried to move my händs to readjust him but still, the sound was off.

It was unusual.
A new born baby shouldn't be sounding like that.

The nurse came.
Even before I could tell her what I noticed, she wondered, why is he breathing like that?

She carried him and took him to baby care unit. She came back and told me his oxygen level was at 84 or so and it was supposed to be close to 100.
That I shouldn't worry as baby is being put on oxygen, would remain there for few hours and be brought back to me soonest.

Oh good! I thought.
1hr,. 2hrs. 3hrs.. 4hrs.. 5hrs..
At night, a nurse came to pick few things for him. I asked again, "he's fine", she muttered.

Next day before dawn, another nurse came telling me they needed to transfuse my baby urgently. That his pcv was less than 15%
Ha! I couldn't comprehend it.
I saw this baby yesterday, he was fine.
What's wrong?

As hubby rushed down to be matched and possibly bled for baby, a Doc told him it wasn't our baby that needed transfusion.
Although relieved, I wasn't totally okay with the news because, we still hadn't seen baby and all they kept telling us that he was fine.

Believe me when I tell you that, elective CS is far more better than Emergency CS.

Once your case becomes an emergency, it'll become a case of saving either them mother, child or you both.

I've experienced both situations.
For my first, I didn't fall into labour.
I was induced at 41wk 5days, and labour progressed fine.

Once it was time to push baby out after I had dilated completely, baby refused to come.

Suddenly, I was bleeding too much and was asked. To be rushed to the theatre.

Once open, placenta had scattered inside belly (a condition known as placenta abruptio).. Baby died and I also had to fight for life.

It was none of mine nor my doctor's fault that it happened that way but since then, I've chosen to walk Into theater to bring. Out fine and healthy babies.

Some emergencies might lead to loss of lives of permanent health conditions for either you or your baby.

That your mil case na secondary.. think of what will better your life now.

Ehugs and have a successful surgery with a beautiful baby.

I went for a scan as directed by doctor because I wasn't sure of my LMP date due to hormonal imbalance which made my periods very irregular so I wasn't recording it.

So it detected 15weeks and 5days and my baby is very okay.....I noticed my excess spitting is reducing gradually unlike before.

I just finished treating malaria but I eat a lot now.

I wish all mummy's here a very big congratulations on the arrival of your baby, and to the rest of us happy waddling and congrats in advance.

Dont be scared. August last year i had my baby in this same situation. mine was 4.5kg. i was shceduled for 24th but hadmy baby on 23rd Through V.B. Now,u must understand that this is ur life n not urmother inlaws. u must do wat is best for you n ur baby my darlyn. victory is urs in Jesus name

So I did my PCV yesterday and it has gone up to 34. Another thing I did while using Ewe Eje is taking Tot'Hema, it was prescribed by my doctor 2 weeks ago, I used it morning and night, though I didn't use it religiously as the drug was somehow scarce.

Cutting me extra slack through gluttony but fine. Just continue managing and putting in things in your mouth cos not eating is bad oo. Better still consult your doctor to know if there's a means of improving your appetite.
