Came close to marriage twice but ended it cos they cheated. If it was the other lady they like they won't be planning to marry you then. Its her wedding they'll be planning not yours. Mind you I'm not justifying their actions but you're regretting some of your actions too now 3 Likes |

Anyahuruagu: I actually discussed this with my folks the other time.
The single lifestyle of our generation affects the female gender more than the male gender.
When you age you will understand that the most important aspect of marriage is actually companionship, sex is while you are younger but as you age.
You need a confidant, a partner no matter how hard it is you need someone.
To our single women out there, please use the opportunity now.
I have met plenty aged single women, i must confess that 85% of them aren't happy with their life. raw fact. Thumbs up Man 1 Like |

But the cheating part, animals are instinctively polygamous, the fact that we're more intelligent than most doesn't mean we're not animals still. If you can find a man or a woman who wouldn't cheat then the person has made a truly huge sacrifice for you suppressing that instinct, or the person, just like you (if I assume you don't "cheat" was forced to suppress it from adolescence. Kobojunkie: How can they be happy when they were raised by parents like yours to believe they need to have a man in their lives to complete them in some way?
Jesus Christ taught us that God Almighty made created some - male and female alike - Eunuchs from birth, some become Eunuchs in life and others chose to become Eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of God - Matthew 19 vs 5 - 15
Sadly, some of those who were created Eunuchs are indoctrinated by ignorant parents into believing they are meant to marry and reproduce, setting their life into confusion from their very beginning. It is not mandatory to marry or have companions. This choice ought to be left to individuals to make on their own and in their own time.
God made marital companionship a choice.... no one needs it to be happy, not even in old age. Those who don't have it can still be happy if they desire to be. And those who have it and are not happy can also choose to be happy regardless. You left the message and attack the messenger. Except you want to deny it, there are single parent (female folks most especially) who need companionship and father figure for their children but their ego & wokeness will never let them submit to their husband. Although, some men are sad excuses to be called men. I've met quite a few but i won't broach that topic here. All the friends spurring them on ( telling them to express themselves, live your life, go on social media and vent at men) would eventually get busy with their lives (family, career, businesses & their walk with God) and won't have the time to check up on their single parent friends, that is when the reality would dawn on these folks. Loneliness is not good for one's health. I can point out many research that validates my claim. 6 Likes |

HenryDion: Two degrees?
Time you should have used and settled down, you went for another degree?
At what age did you get your first degree?
You sound like one of these ladies with an over-bloated ego due to their achievements, hence unable to humble themselves and respect men with far less achievement.
Perhaps you were waiting for a man who has three degrees... Now instead of blaming yourself, you're blaming everyone around you.
Indeed, wisdom is rare.
You've seen where it landed you. Your only option now is to adapt and be a single mother. You sound financially okay, so that shouldn't be a problem. Not the best time for bashing her…all she needs is support and hope….Theirs somebody definitely loving you but I guess you’re just not paying attention..If I say marry someone who will be faithful, with probably a degree, struggling financially. You probably prefer someone still single with a PhD and a millionaire.. |

How she the first?? That's the factory setting of every girl! It is always the guys fault. When flavour, psquare and the likes sing, you see them admitting they messed up and want their woman back. But have you seen tiwa, yemi alade and Co ever admit in their songs that they messed up? Mba! They don't. They're always faultless in their relationship. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hey there!
First of all... Stop blaming others for your predicament.
The advice was a great one.
Likely reasons were that you set an unrealistic standards of the kind of man you want.
Secondly, could be your character. Are you toxic? Do you blame others for your mistakes? Are you judgemental?
Thirdly, there was a tiny reason why those two guys cheated on you. Don't get me wrong, it was bad of them to cheat on you.
I thought Beyonce was going to walk away when he caught Jay Z cheating on her, but for some reason, she decided to make it work.
Perhaps if you made it work with one of those to whom you came very close marry, maybe who knows, you'd have a beautiful and happy family now.
Anyways, I guess you should go out there, while you're being careful of STDs, fxck and get pregnant. But be ready to take care of your child.
The baby daddy may end up proposing to you if he constantly gets peace from you.
Cheers! 1 Like |

My sister, you are the one who got it all wrong. Fine you were told to avoid teenage pregnancy which is true. But when it was right for you to get married most especially after your first degree, you believed in the saying that men are cheat, deceptive, wife beaters and most especially they can’t be trusted. All these insinuations are false about men except he has mental disorder. For a matured lady to be happy and fulfilled, the following must be taking into consideration 1. Learn to forgive and let go off your past 2. Avoid listening to discouraging judgment and beliefs from people 3. Be contented and believe in yourself 4. Don’t put too much expectations on people and money 5. Don’t be sentimental wherever you find yourself 1 Like 1 Share |
