Hello guys! I'm new here, I got my ppr but yet to travel. I want to ask between Pharmacy technician and Environmental Technology which will favour me the most in New Brunswick in terms of Job opportunities. Note: I'm going for undergraduate diploma. I just graduated from high school. Please who knows about this province should help me with answer.
Also if I change course in same DLI hope it won't affect anything before I travel.

Hello,

I'd go for the pharmacy technician or any other course in healthcare.

For those that may respond to people here looking for travel mates.

If you travel by air a lot, beware of over friendly chatty seat neighbours

The older lady comes and sits next to me inside the plane. She asked me to help her put her bag in the overhead luggage compartment. But a gentleman sitting across quickly came through. (I am not very tall and the overhead luggage compartment is something I try to avoid at all costs.

Immediately she sits down she strikes up a conversation. She was very pleasant and well spoken. So we chatted all through the flight to Dubai.
Suddenly, when the pilot announced that we were now proceeding to begin our descent into DXB, my good friend 'developed' stomach pains. Me with my good heart, I pressed the stewards button, and the stewardess came to find out what the problem was. I told her my seat mate was not feeling well. And this lady, she suddenly began to address me as 'my daughter'.

The stewardess told me that there was nothing they could do except give her some painkillers and wait until we landed. The pilot announced that we had a medical emergency on board and advised us all to stay calm. My new friend was crying and sweating like crazy. And she refused to let go of my hand... everyone assumed we knew each other.

So we landed at DXB and the same gentleman who helped put up her luggage in the overhead compartment removed her luggage. But as he removed the luggage, he advised me to distance myself from this lady and make it clear to the cabin crew that we were NOT travelling together. He was a godsend!

So indeed, the cabin crew came and asked me if we were related, I categorically told them we had met on the plane. I didn't know her at all. So we began to deplane and as I said goodbye she kept begging me to carry her handbag. I was so torn... but the gentleman looked me in the eye and emphatically shook his head. He passed me a note telling me to let the cabin crew handle her.

So I exit the aircraft and leave my 'new friend' to wait for the wheelchair and be handled by the cabin crew feeling very guilty.

As we waited for our luggage to come through, I hear this commotion. My 'new friend' was running, trying to escape the cabin crew, having gotten out of the wheelchair! She left the stewardess with her handbag and just ran towards the exit with the rest of her hand luggage! Luckily the airport police were faster than her. They got hold of her and brought her back in handcuffs.

This lady starts calling out to me.. my daughter... my daughter!.. how could you do this to me..... that's when I caught on. She was carrying drugs and she was trying to implicate me!

Luckily for me, the gentleman who had helped her with her luggage came forward and told the airport police that me and her had just met on the plane. The police took my passport and asked her to reveal my full names if it was true we were travelling together. By God's grace, I had not even told her my first name! I was still asked to follow the police to a little room where I was questioned extensively. Where did I meet her?... where did I board... where did she board. Etc... And my luggage was extensively searched and dusted for fingerprints.

They dusted all her luggage and my fingerprints were not found anywhere on her luggage or on her handbag!
I was let go with advice never ever to touch anyone's luggage either in flight or at the airport. So from that day, I don't care how much luggage you have, you will deal with it yourself. I will not even offer you a trolley to put your luggage on! Your luggage... your problem.... is my policy. And if you can't reach the overhead compartment, and I am the nearest person, please call the cabin crew because all I will do is give you a blank stare and then look away!

A lesson to glean therein for intending air travelers.

You will not be able to work as a nurse if you don't have Canadian license. You may be able to work as a nurse assistant (depending on how desperate they are).

Got from a friend

SINP nominee's citizenship application rejected

I have no empathy for people like this. He or she was trying to cheat the system. I can't fathom how you submit EOI yourself and you pull out of the agreement. It's just common sense! The province nominated him or her because of their interest in the profile submitted and the expressed interest from the applicant. Only for the nominated person to land there for just a week and left for another province to live and improve their economy for 7 years!. A province that saw you in the but didn’t invite you! Talk about users. He even tried it with the almighty Saskatchewan. If I say what's on my mind finish ehn, some people will quote me and call me wicked cheesy

I greet una o, quick question, I have Lester B Toronto Intl Airport on my flight ticket, and wanna fill the ArriveCAN stuff only to discover there are like 3 options to choose from under Arrival Airport, Lester B Pearson Toronto Intl Airport, Toronto Pearson Airport Terminal 1 and Toronto Pearson Airport Terminal 3, all with the YYZ code. Friends that have travelled to Canada via Toronto Airport are advising I choose Terminal 1. What do you guys think? Don't wanna have issues with officials at the port of entry.

Google your flight number and the exact Terminal where your flight is scheduled to arrive will be revealed.

Please, I need information on people that fall into this category. Were you able to extend your study permit when you switched from an undergraduate program to a two-year college program without enrolling in your course even after asking your old school to defer to the next semester?

You'll get good responses to this question in the Canadian students thread. This thread is more of skilled workers, sirs and madams smiley

Yes, I was hoping that the current situation will give some exceptions to some extent. I was told by some students of UManitoba that it’s possible to work as an assistant due to the desperate need for nurses at this time. Thanks again, MissShakara

Hello guys,

I know this isn't LinkedIn but I thought its worth a shot.

I'm studying Software development at Lambton College, Toronto. I'm going into my final semester and due to start co-op (Internship) in January as a requirement for my program.

Its proving to be more difficult than I thought to find placement. Even though January seems far away, I'm getting anxious because if I'm unable to get a placement, I would have to enroll in another semester and pay its fees, for which I have not budgeted.

If anyone here has any leads, or can connect me, or refer me, or employ me, it would be really helpful.
Also, I dont have to be in Toronto, so if there are opportunities elsewhere, I'm open to that too.

You can reach out to me privately, or reply to this post or ask for my contact information.

I hope my helper gets to see this.

You should have created this post on LinkedIn itself, a lot of recruiters will reach out to you by themselves. Also post the language stack you are very familiar with and your portfolio.

Then tell people you know working as software devs to share it for on their timeline.

It should be easy for you to get non paid internships.

they haven’t met. They only talk through phone and chat. That is not sufficient grounds to apply for visitor visa for her. All those boys marrying old white women in Nigeria. The women had to come here and not the other way round.

So nobody's going to talk about how boring and depressing living in Canada can be. I sometimes don't know the essence of this thread, only talks about assistance of visa applications, and so on.

maybe nobody is talking about it because they are not bored and depressed.

This sounds like a you problem. Have you tried to relocate back home?
