Ighalo looks like an honourable man..I don't think he will fall for this gimmick by Rohr and Pinnick to come back..
Remember, many fans wanted him out after that poor performance from him at the world cup..It was Rohr that stuck by him... He left when the ovation was loud...His performance at the AFCONQ and AFCON to a large extent cancelled out the memory most people had of him at the world cup..
If he return to the team with our current set up that lacks creativity,he will struggle...

Somebody like Yakubu, despite being our third all time top scorer is remembered more for his miss at the world cup than for his other goal contributions...He never got the second chance that Ighalo got
honestly I was one of does fans in 2018 I would have literally stone his Head assuming I had the opportunity to see him and true he has redeemed him self with the afcon exploit and it is better he enjoy his retirement in peace before he comes back to do something worse that will make people burn his house when it glearing 99% of the fans don't want him anymore in the team wink

At least against the best teams in the world not CAR
mostob:
Your Ighalo couldn't score a begging chance that would have give us a big chance to progress to the WC knockout and your Moses dey fall all over the place like naira wey sapa don bully.

You are not even sure of going to the world cup
Odunayaw:
I don't know of any medal or cup for winning 4-0

What was their massive contribution in WC? Again I ask. Oh I remember, horrible miss against Argentina!

It's really gonna be organic having a strike force of Osimhen, Success and Awoniyi, not starting at once though.
With Chukwueze and Ejuke on the wings and Ndidi and Onyeka shielding our DM when playing against superior countries. I reiterate that we really need Eze and if Eze changes his mind and becomes available, he would be playing infront of Ndidi and Onyeka. Then we are good to go from midfield to attack
You really spoke well bro. Kudos.

But don't you think sadiq should be in place of success?

What of the defence?

We don't have a good mix there

all want success just because he scored yesterday

I saw the game and the success I saw yesterday still have a lot of work to do to even make the bench of the current super eagles team

Dude looked heavy and unfit

balogun and ebuehi? I don’t think so

For those clamoring for the return of odion who I am also a huge fan of seem to not want the progression of the team to a new era

Odion just like mikel and Moses have done their best and it was thoughtful of the trio to make way for the next generation

In an era where we boast of the best strikers out from Africa to Europe such as osimehn, awoniyi, umar, ugbo, iheanacho, dessers, moffi and even odey who got his groove back since moving to Denmark no sensible fan will agitate or even suggest the recall of ighalo

Dude has done is best though still performing in the Saudi league but we need to give chance to younger performing strikers in main stream European leagues a chance to make name in the national team also

It would have been different if we lacked capable strikers which would have justified his recall to the team

When we defeated Cameroon 4-0 in Uyo we all saw the massive contribution of Ighalo, Mikel and Moses. Can our current team defeat Cameroon by 4 unreplied goals?

Mikel and moses made the difference in that match even though I will say ighalo tried still

Current Oshimen will do same or even better

So oga what we need right now are creative midfielders let us know if you have anyone for us

Because of the coacb we parade

Why didn't your ighalo and co beat algeria in last afcon?

U seems not to understand how the super eagles play against south africa in Uyo it played out when mikel was absence we lost and no clear cut chances was created...... nothing beats a creative midfield

Ekong has drop a new video I must say there is good synergy among the players and they are enjoying also seeing those buffet grin grin grin dinning and some level of nice accomodations given to them looks enticing to want few others wanna join but not old players who doesn't have anything to offer anymore other than ego to disrupt the team like we often hear in time pass but new one's to complement the synergy. wink

I don’t want ighalo back in the national team doesn’t mean I should talk down on him

You said if ighalo was good he should be in Europe when we all know he went for the money ,I can bet you with anything that ighalo won’t lack offers from Epl Laliga seria A if he chooses to stay in Europe

I can give you list of strikers playing outside Europe because of money maybe you will say they aren’t good enough

Playing outside Europe is a choice and it’s now how good you are or not

One thing about many of you on this thread is if you don’t fancy a player you will talk down on the player

I am sure you are also praying for onuachu not to move soon so that you will also masturbate on his case

U need to stop this victim mentality

Wetin concern me with Onauchu here

For ighalo good u said he went for money and he wont lack suitors from main stream European top leagues
But let me ask will he or can he pose those goal stats he is currently getting in Saudi in any of EPL, La liga and Seria A? Can he replicate those numbers

I never saw him as a clinical forward at all

Rohr is so clueless and know nothing about football

I never believed a german coach could be so dumb
Even a blind man knows the problem with super eagles is creating chances from the midfield and wings not strikers problem

We have dennis, oshimen, taiwo, sadiq, onauchu etc all we need now is good creative midfielders but the warey go dey find old strikers to recruit if it was Mikel he recalled i won't mind at all

We lost against CAR because Iwobi was absent

U seems like an agent to Ighalo or one of those guys working in glass house that knows nothing about football if u belong to the later pls help us tell Pinnick qnd his gangs to help us get Eze or Olise to compliment Iwobi in midfield creative role since ROHR have resolved to be blind and clueless

olise will play for us because I don’t see him breaking into the French star studded team anytime soon. The super eagles is his best bet and Algeria isn’t even an option because he will look out of place if he switch to the North African nation

As for eze I doubt he will rescind his decision to play for us and even if such u-turn is to be made anytime soon he should be the one to make it known to the football house and coach that he wants in because the fa hv done enough to get him turn out for us

Say you've forgotten about him
Over 90% of super eagles fans have forgotten about him and dont see anything special in what he brings to the team other missed chances and later bury 1 out of every 4 chances created for him

For a long time we have not had a Nigeria bossing it in Italy with his team occupy top spot

Being the talk of European medias and even attracting interest from Bayern and Madrid

A striker reputed to be one of the best in the world right now and here you have a clueless rohr who thinks he is not good enough

I am sure Rohr doesn't know half of spellati knows reason why he is stucked so many coaches that knows their left from right wont be this clueless as rohr in managing the super eagles

how? Moses and ighalo will add little to this current team

The problem is not the current crop of players but the coach and his tactics

I think with salisu back it may help to make the team play to its full potential

A whole lot because national team football is different from club side football, also ighalo is not in the same class as cr7

Another good point is we have atleast 2 strikers doing marvelously well in 2 of the top 5 leagues in Europe (Belgian league excluded)

With the type of form osimehn and awoniyi is in currently it will be ignorant and insulting to recall a 33 yr old striker who is not even plying his trade in any of the top leagues in Europe

This is looking like a repeat of the 1982 world cup when Nigeria recalled retired Chukwu and we failed to qualify eventually. Hoping this isn't deja vu?
