You said nothing about regularly provide house, food, clothes, protection. Your categorical statement was "None of us here answer the requests of children who are not ours. That is how it works."

Of course because it is not supposed to be said as we say in Nigeria, "dem dey talk dat one?" Or "dem no dey talk dat one"!

I wouldn't hire you. If I hired you, you'd do the above and claim you are a good employee and deserve a reward when the truth is you abandoned your business and spent your time doing the above.

There are two things, amongst others, that should not merely be believed but known for absolute certainty. The first is:

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

The pity in the above is the "blessed them" comes first, when the fact is that you'd be blessed only after obeying the "be fruitful" instruction.

The second is:

By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

It means, you will not be blessed unless you invest your sweat.

Did it occur to you that that "by your sweat..." part was a curse?

God never told you "praying so hard, I have been attending church services and giving my offerings" will put food on your table,

So what did Jesus Christ mean by "seek ye first the kingdom of God..."

I can't answer that, Hedwig, but if you'll accept what it means to me, here goes:

Seek an understanding of all things pertaining to the Gods.

Recall the reward of Solomon's dream.

(I added 's' to God because those who live by only bread will become malnourished.)

It is called a curse in the book, but it really is a blessing if you think about it.

I do not know about you, but I sweat when I put effort into whatever I do, and whenever I put effort into what I do, it tends to be more fruitful than when I don't.

If I do not sweat I can not "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect".

That said, please note that despite my current sweat, I am like 2% perfect, but would be zero %, if not in the minuses, if I did not sweat at all.

Who, is budaatum, would be the more accurate question.

We read that buda was created in the image of buda's God.

Then God said, “Let us make buda in our image, in our likeness, so that buda may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created buda in God's own image, in the image of God created buda; male and female God created buda.
bav

Though, to answer your question, buda is buda, and buda is in buda's home.

So you're happier when you achieve something great the hard way rather than having it easy? Ok. Thanks.

That's not what I said! I do not sit on my ass waiting for manna from heaven. I get off my ass and go up to heaven to grab it for myself, and to be honest with you, most if not all achievements of mine were achieved through hard work.

I studied hard to learn my trade and pass my exams, and I worked hard at my jobs and got appreciation and pay rises and promotions for so doing and now enjoy a comfortable pension commensurate with the effort I put into acquiring it.

One hardly achieves much without putting in the effort, and only lazy people expect to reap where they have not sown. If I had wanted to be a footballer I'd have trained as hard as Ronaldo instead of praying Man U signs me for sitting lazily on my ass.

The following pretty much applies to me.

No, buda is not a Christian. buda does not live by only one book nor does buda believe and tremble like a demon, which is what most Christians seem to do.

buda is not a this or a that. buda is simply buda.

Pity. I was hoping you'd occupy my time but now I'm left dealing with those who are less right thinking than you are.

Please know that I am very willing to go as far as you are willing to make me. Conversing with right thinking people is a pleasure, and considering how few there are, I should pay you for the priviledge.

Dear Nairalanders,

Please I need answers to my inner most question about God. My question is; does God really get involved in blessing people or He God has finished His assignment and the rest left to man to handle?

This question has been coming hard on me because of all I have been going through financially. I have believed this God that sometimes people think am mad. I have been doing my business to the best I can, I have been praying so hard, I have been attending church services and giving my offerings yet I go through a lot like a prodigal son. I am seriously in pain, my heart aches and bleeds at the same time and am losing my mind.

My heart is really aching to be honest with you all and I must say am considering other options of how to get rich because it seems God doesnt answer the prayer for breakthrough. Honestly, I have a thousand reason to believe God doesn't help any man get rich.

Please I need candid advice at this moment only from more matured Christians in the house. Please don't bash me because it is not a funny situation with me at the moment as I have been in need of money to do things and yet non is coming forth.

Hmmm! That you are a child of God does not mean you won’t go through trying times. Also, the prosperity doctrine being peddled by preachers today makes it seem as if you are a Christian and you are not prospering financially then maybe you do not have faith or you are not praying/fasting/tithing enough.

Sometimes in terms of finance/business, it is best to rely on your own power. What do I mean? Think of it this way. If you became aware today that there was no God, no being in control of your life, what would you do? You would probably sit down and analyze why things are not going well. Do you need to switch businesses or get another job, or do more networking.

I am a Christian but still struggle with my faith. If I don’t pray today or miss some days of prayer and something bad happens i start wondering if it is because of the missed prayer. When things are not going well, i start wondering what sort of prayer/fasting favored people are doing that i am not doing. Perhaps I am not decreeing and declaring enough? Or is the doubt in my heart visible for God to see and so chooses not to bless me? So many thoughts always running through my head.

And then i see atheists/sinners who are prospering and I just find myself wondering.

I hate the doubt in my spirit but can’t seem to get rid of it.

Sincerely I do appreciate all the comments coming in. This is not to argue whatsoever. But the truth is, who is righteous if that is the exact criteria for God to help a man? Who is righteous. Again, if righteousness is the criteria, does it now mean that God has never prospered anybody because even scripture says non is righteous and that our righteousness is as a filter rag before God. So how do you then claim God blesses only when one is righteous, yet we have billionaires and millionaires littered all over when God said there is non righteous?

Honestly, I need indept and detail interpretations because truly I want to see to the end of my situation. But of course I will know the truth and the truth will make me free.

Even unrighteous people prosper. Even the atheist is God’s child. Matt 5:45 He makes his sun rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust.

It's amusing that you have to say this.

Some who believe God created all human beings often behave as if some separate God created atheists.

According to the Bible, God created every one. So I don’t understand what you mean.

In the Bible, the title "Child of God" or "Son of God" is instead used to reference holy individuals who serve God alone, and not to all created by God. undecided

Money belongs to God and He gives it those He favours.

Haggai 2:8 confirms this. God owns all the money, don't let the devil deceive you.

If you want to be rich, seek God's favour, please Him greatly by praising Him often, increasing in faith by reading your Bible more and giving generously to the poor and needy.

Our faith and praises pleases God greatly. Also our giving.

Also give more to the gospel.
