When I noticed the second that the gen would go off, I off my TV, the Gen wouldn't go off again. sound would go back to normal within seconds, then I on the TV back. Within 5 or so minutes it would start again most likely this time around would go off even after taking the load down.

And if I turn it off voluntarily it doesn't stop the way it is supposed to. Normally it rolls but comes to a stop gradually. In my case it just stop. And some times it behaves like there is no fuel then after some while it stop.

I took it to a mechanic, he said the sound is normal and gen is okay. That It is the pistil that doesn't allow engine oil to go around it. This has been happening the last 4 times I tried using it.

Can you tell what could be the problem please, maybe the mechanic doesn't know the problem.

What's the wattage of the pressing iron? Should be looking at generators of 3000W up.

It's either there is no enough oil in the mixture. Or d ring is gummed to d piston. If it's been long u changed ur piston and ring last. I will advice u change the piston and ring. Also bear in mind that the road side oil they are selling now is very light unlike before. Mix more oil or change the piston and rings (@just #500)

Get a technician to check it. Hopefully should be seal related.

To be honest I don't know too much about gens. But you can definitely buy mine for a fair price. It's fairly used. Well serviced. Has no issues. Let me know if you're interested.

Firman or Thermocool. Buy firman from accredited dealers or from Firman flagship stores and Thermocool from Thermocool showrooms only.

Yesterday I bought #500 fuel(3ltrs) and #200 oil and fuelled gen.
When I was using,I heard some sounds but I thought maybe it was d load on d gen.

The gen now turned off after 3 hours of working. I thought maybe oil wasn't enough so I went to buy #100 oil today
Today too again, after adding half of the #100 oil, gen worked for like one hour and went off. When I turned it back on, it starts immediately and works at once. Now it went off after like 2 hours again.
Ion know what might be wrong.
I've added d remaining little oil but to on d gen no dey sweet me.

What do you mean by change of sound? Is it the like one second change in sound immediately you turn on the freezer or its sustained? If it's just one second, it's normal even for bigger generators, because compressors use way more than their rated power for start up.
