Wow! Congratulations Testimonytime. It is a testimony of God's faithfulness.

I am so happy for you. Go and prosper in Canny land!!!

quote author=Testimonytime post=107340216]It’s PPR

I appreciate God for this day and give 100percent glory to Him.
I will like to state this is my second application. Let me not bother you with my checklists. I will only say it is God. Iv seen better prepared applications with with better supporting documents and still refused by IRCC. I realized the need to DEPEND FULLY on God to get my approval. Mine is a long story that God has made to end in praise. I dedicate my Success to Him and encourage all to believe in Jesus. Nothing is impossible for Him. It’s really a beggining of new things in my 43 years of existence. Thank you Jesus.

I have a dollar debit card. The issue is that I can’t find where to proceed to make payment. No link or request for debit card details
It could be you have not finished uploading. Try reuploading everything.

To notarized your docs, visit any high court( if you are in Lagos you can go to Ikeja High Court) or any notary public office.Go with your original docs and as well the photocopies of the required docs. NB you are only to notarize the photocopies not your original docs. Each docs cost range is 1-2k depends on your bargain strength.

All the best.

My People, I have an HND certificate, and evaluated by WES. Since schools in Canada does not accept HND for a masters program, Can you please advise if I should apply for a post graduate diploma program or a Graduate Certificate program or an undergraduate program.
I am not sure which of these two will potray academic progression to the VO.

Thank you

Did you order for your gcms note ?
because what you just typed is the normal generic refusal reason they give.

Thank you for this, Osemigho.

I am not sure of what he filled as source of funding on his form

I have few questions please...

In his previous application, he didn't mention that he has started a phd in China as we felt the VO might have reservations. Are you suggesting that he mentions that in his reapplication?

If he is able to get a support letter from his current supervisor in China on why the PhD in Canada is a better fit for his career goals, will that also help?

Thanks once again.

Please confirm what he filled and correct it, if necessary.

It is his decision if he wants to mention it or not, but I don't think his supervisor in China will support such a move. He should not shoot himself in the leg twice. All the best.

Pls I need help. My brother got a tuition free scholarship to Canada but a bit scared as he doesn't know how to survive over there.

Any advice on way forward in terms of securing a job. ease of securing a job, Cost of living in Canada. Etc
Moreso, what does tuition free scholarship mean? Will there be other fees he needs to pay when he gets there?

It is easy to get minimum wage job for students. 20 hrs ×$15×4wk = $1200. After tax, you get about $900. Shared room (utilities included) about 500 in Calgary. $300 monthly Food budget is very good. You can also work 40hrs during break. You will ikely survive, not blow, with tuition scholarship that pays all your tuition and the 20hrs work restriction for international student. All the best.

Client information section. All documents that there’s no space for in other sections should go to the client information section.

You might want to create a table of contents to tell the VO where every document is. I did that too.

Goodluck and it’ll definitely end in praise

Long post alert
Testimonytime

What God cannot do does not exit.

My Canadian dream started at the lowest point of my life, January 7th 2016. I watched with the greatest pain I ever experienced when the doctor brought out my full term stillbirth baby in Methodist Hospital Houston Texas, USA. I knew there and then that I can do nothing without Jesus and surrendered completely to Him at my lowest ebb. I changed my moniker from Twingirls to Testimonytime ( Twingirl is still on Nairaland land, though I am not using it again).

Fast forward to when answered my prayers and I wanted to travel again for the birth, my visa application hang and I meant hung in the air.

After several failed attempt at express entry, due largely to age, I resolved to student visa, I refused to give up.

Submitted my first application on 21st February and got refusal on 18th March on lieing about previous refusal, personal asset and financial status and employment situation.

Reapplied 16th April
Medical passed 30th April
Requested gcms June 21st, came back blank 21st July
Eligibility started 22nd July
Reapplied for gcms 23rd July, came back with recommended interview 13th September
Eligibility went back yesterday to “we will tell you when we start reviewing your application”
PPR – 4th November

I give all glory to God, He made this possible
I appreciate Justmellow who wrote my LOE and even in my state of dejection, I knew he did an extraordinary work on my LOE, he advised me further on steps for the reapplication and followed up all the way.
Keji, an angel I met on nairaland, who proof read my SOP, compiled all my documents into pdf and resize ( working tirelessly even at midnights)
Lekiboboe who advised me to go for pgd in Culinary management Selkirk College BC instead of CNA diploma
Frankrobn who encouraged me to re- fire and not loose hope
Annon123, Ayokaq, Akoko123 and others who assisted in one way or another either by suggesting relevant documents or supporting me through the trying six and half months of waiting. I am 43 years old, I changed career from law to culinary practice. Sponsor was my husband and God came through for me. I have no doubt He did it all, PPR is God’s miracle. Men ought to pray and not faint, I prayed my ppr into existence and did the best I could on the document submitted.

Congratulations to you.

Good evening guys,
Does anyone know the fastest way I can contact FLYWIRE?, so they can quickly respond to my query.
I use Form A for my tuition payment on Monday, and my bank just debited my Acct today. So flywire send me email just now that if I didn’t complete the payment today they are going to cancel it.

Please help.

Just send a message to them explaining the delay is from the bank and you will appreciate if more time is given, with the assurance that you have been debited, they will definitely respond positively, cheers

I am not speaking from experience but there's no way $300 a month will be able to sustain you. Your rent alone will be anywhere between 250 and 500 at least depending on province. You still have to eat, transport, pay for utilities, phone bills, miscellaneous.
This really help bro. Thanks so much
