Abeg has anyone gotten a logical explanation for that Saka's disallowed goal? Or we just have to accept it's offside because VAR says so and VAR couldn't show us any footage that suggests offside? |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 6:41pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:We still need midfielder ESR and partey stepped up yet you can't see their importance that is why I praise the midfield And no fvcking defence, I repeat no defence win you league All na scam, how did you guys even believe that shít |

iamoyindamola:you think say we for win this match if our CB na Mustafi and Mari, with bellerin and kolasinac as our fullbacks |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 6:49pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Lol... I no even reason say my ESR joint top highest goal scorer praise go bring back old debates . But lemme add my own opinion Even tho I'm an advocate of improved defence and attack, but you see this particular season, na our defence dey carry us dey where we dey so. Let me break my thoughts Down The forward line of Auba is not as effective as Arteta first season or Emery's. Saka even tho he's giving okay performances, he's not at the top height we know him as. Lacazette have been okay but he's still lacking the goals. No make me call Pepe for here abeg or martinelli who hasn't been given many chances to shine Midfield of Smith Rowe have been the shining star and outstanding performance no doubt, but partey even tho he shows his class is still somehow inconsistent. Lokonga is still too raw but at least he tries in matches in terms of mobility and recycling. Odegaard isn't even at the level of last season when we(or I ) even expected an improvement from last season. The rest of Xhaka, elneny and Amn is N/A ratings Defence. Tomiyasu has been excellent (nobody have talked any bad about him) Gabriel have been boss. Will easily walk into any top4 team(note not top 6 o) White have been good too with aerial balls and interceptions. Tavarez nko?... A revelation to behold while Tierney haven't been too bad, even tho he's dropped form compared to last season Ramsdale... The king of the bunch alongside Gabriel. In fact, this five ensured we have clean sheets upon clean sheets in matches 3 Likes |

iamoyindamola: You just keep deflecting from the question. Partey has always played well, same with Smith-Rowe. They didn't start playing well this season. If Smith-Rowe didn't play well last season he won't be in the team as a starter this season. My question is very very simple yet u have failed to answer it. Partey, Smith-Rowe, Odegaard were all here last season yet u believe except the board splashes more cash on our midfield options we will amount to nothing. That same midfield with addition of decent defenders is doing well for the time being. It won't cost a thing to acknowledge how ball playing CB like white has been helping us break opponent's press, how rock solid CB like Gabriel has jumped into challenges and snuffing out opposition attacking moves, how Tomiyasu has helped on the right hand side Bellerin and Chambers have always left to suffer..... This Ur midfield agenda no just work on this one at all. I remember trying to explain over and over gain that when Gabriel was signed we also got Partey in midfield to balance things up, but u people will not listen. Una just dey propagate una midfield agenda upandan like say na only midfield be the only position the club must spend Money on. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 6:57pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Jodera: Now the real questions 1... How many times have any of us feared that opposition will score through spamming crosses, corners or free kick cross? Not me 2... How many of us have feared that our defenders wants to pass from back and they would concede a monumental error? Not me. 3... How many times have we scored early in the first half and defend throughout the 2nd half and lost the game? Leicester, Tottenham, Aston villa, even Brighton too. Aside crystal palace (which we drew). Na only Smith Rowe done score more than one goal from midfield. Odegaard against Burnley, na defence preserve that score Auba against Norwich, na still defence preserve the score. Na only this match (Watford) naim I'll say our midfield won the match from beginning to end 1 Like |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:02pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Jodera:You know we have had it so bad from Leno to the defence but the midfield was the worst Now we are having it going well and I decided to remind us the importance of good midfield Una wan claim na defence Defence way be say na joint work |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 7:10pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:Not really complaining. Just saying that Auba should please improve in his pk conversion so that it won't hunt us esp wen it's very crucial In epl, He's played 14 penalties and missed 5. That's the reason I'm afraid cos my mind dey always jolt |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 7:15pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola:Lol, even the joint work been dey against man city and Chelsea na but we still dey collect. Joint work no dey wen lukaku bully Mari, abi Cedric miss leg against man city? Me I sure say man city fit beat us again, but you see this Chelsea? Dem no go find am easy if all these guys (esp the defence dey) What I'm really happy is that ESR have added goals to his game. I pray saka adds too and partey chips in once in a while. As for the defence, I'm happy 2 Likes |

iamoyindamola: Okay here's my question HOW DID THE MIDFIELD U'VE ALWAYS CLAIMED WAS NOT GIVEN PRIORITY OVER OTHER POSITION SUDDENLY IMPROVES OUR GENERAL PLAY ; WHEN NO SERIOUS OVERHAUL WAS DONE IN THE LAST ONE YEAR OTHER THAN MORE DEFENDERS ADDED TO THE TEAM? |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Nobody: 7:30pm On Nov 07, 2021 |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:31pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:They improved Partey and Smith have always been class apart from other midfielder Can you tell me why gabu was benched on his debut season and the CB you claimed were clowns played |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 7:32pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Jodera: God bless u for this. This Watford match can best be described in statistics as an outlier; and na him my guy iamoyindamola wan use do the base of his agenda but e no fit work today. Against Leicester when the defence + Ramsdale did evwryting possible to repel Leicester's attempts he no talk. The other matches as well we had the defence to thank for helping us consolidate the work of the other deparments I no hear any agenda, na just this Watford match I come dey here nigbati, nigbati...... There's a reason our player of the month for spetember was a defender and our October player of the month will most likely be a goalkeeper. Presently our strength lies in the backline and that's that. Any other thing na agenda 1 Like |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:34pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
kokanepyramid:No go there yet Make we ask why chambers or Soares are not playing fullback We were playing players out if position, midfield was xhaka and others, partey was injured This same Gabriel was fit and yet overlooked by arteta for clowns |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:35pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:You mean only white and gabu did the whole defending against Leicester? |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 7:35pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola: So it's safe to say it's an error on Ur part to have written them off as being not good enough then. Right? |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:38pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:Lmao, how is it an error Partey was injured last season, ESR showed his worth Xhaka, elneny and the rest are shit I still insist we need more midfielders |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 7:39pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola: Unfortunately for u, I didn't mention those two in my post. U can read it again for further confirmation. I mentioned the keeper and the entire defence. The fact that our defenders are getting praise from both fans and foes shows they are doing something right. If u choose not to acknowledge that, then that's Ur decision |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Roland17(m): 7:39pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola: This why I said avoid the temptation making this about one player. This is about the defense, the entire back and the goalie. According to you, the midfield has had more influence than the defense this season. I am very careful not to personalize this argument, I think I mentioned that before. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 7:39pm On Nov 07, 2021 |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:40pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:You didn't answer why gabu was overlooked ahead of the clowns last season |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:41pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Jodera:But when I said joint defending I was seeing gabu name pop up Partey was also defending with auba pressing from the top |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Roland17(m): 7:41pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick: We are praising our defenders as being the stability behind the run this season. We are parading pretty much the same midfielders whether formation changed or not, so what’s the difference? |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Roland17(m): 7:42pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola: Is it wrong to ascribe the leadership of that back 4 to Gabu? Every back 4/ defensive unit has its leader. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 7:42pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola: I guess Mitland-Niles is shiiit too and Lokonga the error prone understudy for Xhaka. But just today u were using their midfield partnership as a reference point for midfield gospel na. The kind amala wey u dey turn, even OYO people go fear u |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:43pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Roland17:Defence Who are the defence? Anyone can pick up the job to defend and track back but can every player do the job of turning defence to attack? This is the work of partey, ESR and odeegaard which I acknowledged over and over again |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Roland17(m): 7:44pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
iamoyindamola: You are making this about Gabu and if we go that route you will still be wrong.. massively.. We saw White with Mari and we have seen White with Gabu. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 7:45pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:That's the problem here I asked you if you were judging with today's game that's why I included partey and ódegaard But you were hell bent on today game that's why I showed you how amn won the motm |
