It's not a right or wrong.For me it's a choice.You are not also under obligation to spill out all about your past.....after all it's the past......as long as it has no incriminating effect on the present.

Because some past have the potential to hurt the future and if both of you are gonna be a part of each others future, then know that what hurts one will most definitely hurt the other...

However, you can't force a person to tell you about his/her past...its a choice and also you have to be prepared to be able to handle it...
