Are they forced to drive Uber/Bolt? Why not cancel the trip themselves? Why make the client cancel so that they can be paid for service they intentionally made the client cancel?

Hello this is nigeria not europe or america....if u your intune with happenings around you should know you need to be careful where you go to and time..and if you get car will enter bad roads?? Cause of how much??u can start driving here maybe if them rob u once or twice ur eye go clear..or if ur car spoil u go no how far...how much is the fare comparee.to the risk ??are you roads 100% ok??

Dude abeg u suck!!

Are they forced to drive? They should pull out and leave those who want to take the risk. With fewer drivers and high riders, the drivers will make more as a premium for the risk they take. It is so easy and we should stop making things complex.

Keep the 60k job, since it comes with accommodation.
Find a good working class lady that earns at least 100k monthly. Friend her, chyke her, propose her and marry her. Both of you should live in that accommodation.
Then watch as your life would improve gradually.

You're welcome!

I don't understand, you didn't read the post before commenting, haa... the guy is a family man

What are you doing with 60k monthly for crying out loud? That is 720k/annum....
Money you can make in 1 month driving Uber/Bolt

If you are hardworking you can even make 1 million naira. Just don't join the lazy gangs...

See attached picture of monthly gross

You are misleading the man by posting this figure. This earning was done only on Bolt. The man is planning to drive on Uber.
This is a Bolt dashboard not Uber. They are different companies for chrisakes......

I have used my card couple times too and never had that experience. I believe the app is designed to switch to local currency pay out irrespective of the currency type of your card.
Most global banks won't flag cos your bank card is already linked but i won't be surprised if a credit union throws one or 2 flags.

What i will recommend is using the cash option i found out that out this year and learn to drive more in naija its usually fun for me.

The way i switch to the naija crazy style right away still amuses me grin

I guess many things could have triggered the transaction as fraud such as the time of the day, the amount, and the location. Upon my return, it worked without calling the bank but for the rest of the trip, it did not.

@ GboyegaD see the mentality i was referring to.

Just smh. I believe drivers have a way of rating bad riders if all of them do it the riders will be compelled to act right.
So don't condone a rider that cheats the systems even though you will get paid still report it. Same way i will report a driver if they act stupid

Relax before you give yourself unecessary heart attack.
No one is telling you not to cancel trips. 85% of riders you pick up actually have RELIABLE transportation.

Just do the right thing , be professional and abide by the terms of reference you signed up for or you can quit the app and go join taxis under oshodi bridge or ojuelegba.
Don't forget they have code of conduct too

Self-centered bunch of idiots. Its not uber's job to verify whether you will be killed or not.
You have common sense when you get to the area and its not safe you simply cancel and choose the option not safe dont be a two-faced silly prick.

Drivers get killed just like riders get killed. You all drive cars that are not what's on the app or different driver compared to what's on the app.

You masturbate while carrying a rider, send stupid messages to riders.

OGA self righteous man DO YOUR DAMN JOB YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY DRIVER IN THE WORLD AND GET A REAL JOB TOO

How to efficiently set quantity based rules in prestashop store? Well for that you would need prestashop product quantity which can help set quantity based rules and restrictions.

You currently have a ₦60K + accommodation, you want to risk it all, for uber........ Biko no do ó...

You would now start paying house rent, buy fuel, maintain vehicle, insure vehicle, continually risk your life etc etc (each passenger is a perceived risk).........
I already pay house rent as I already have my own accommodation. The company I work for gave me accommodation because my house is too far from office so I can't accept the job on a 60k salary. I still go to my own apartment like every other weekend

60k job and Uber gig is not sustainable in the long run especially in Lagos, it's just to rack up savings before you venture into something else.

Learn digital skills at night after the days hustle, get a good laptop and internet connection...

First off, you need to know your strengths if you decide to earn online.

Check the www.websitelearners.com...i bet you'd learn alot from there more than you did in the four walls of any school.

You need skills to make money online, it can be photo editing, graphic design, video editing, search engine optimization, digital marketing, e-commerce website development etc.

Use glo to access night data..it's N50 for unlimited YouTube access from 12 - 5am.

Learn importation on YouTube by following and subscribing to "Jubilant James".

Learn Business, e-commerce, Facebook amd instagram Ads by following and subscribing to "Courage Ngele" and "Ken Ndubuisi".

Learn vlogging, blogging, affiliate marketing aswell...the list is endless to say the least.

search, Follow and subscribe on YouTube this popular tech channel "websitelearners"...you'd learn a lot from there more than you ever did in the four walls of a classroom.

The future is tech, don't sleep on it.

You need lots of data, food and zeal to learn for 6 months consistently...after you must have mastered the skill, go to LinkedIn and craft a good profile.

Go to www.enhancecv.com and build your resume.

Look for fellow skillsets specialists within your chosen field, introduce yourself and tell them you'd like to work on some projects with them for free so you can build your portfolio from there.

Create a paypal account, sign up on freelance sites where you can get remote work (US, Canada, Australia, Estonia, Germany), you can earn as much as $20 per gig daily as a beginner.

Goodluck brother, remain blessed.
Can you recommend a good YouTube video for graphics

I guess most of my ride will hover between 7 and 10 bucks as such, an amount that high was an outlier and the location was way different from my last location and it was about the first time I was using that card in the new location. In recent times, I guess they will call but you know, even at that, my phone was on airplane mode so even if they tried, it wouldn't have gone through.

60k meant a lot to me as salary because I had to wait for a whole 30days before earning it. I sat down at a point in my life, and thought about my life , like for how long would I continue waiting for 30days before earning 60k. No time for friends, no time for family, you earn the money, and gets broke within 2weeks. I left the job , and within 2weeks of resigning, and realizing how much I earn and spend within those time, I hated myself for accepting such a salary for 1year+. Instances, when I was earning the salary, my sub doesnt exceed 1k in a month, now, my sub is 8k in a month, and so many other instances I cant narrate here. @OP, I have no advise for you. Just read my experience , and advise yourself. The ball is in your court.

What did you quit to do?
Or you quit and booom!!
Money started raining?
What template did you follow?
What plans did you put into action to jump from 1k - 8k sub?
Or you just quit and everything changed miraculously the next morning?
Or should I say you got lucky and fate smiled at you without a plan?
Should I remind you that he mentioned family in his write up?
Funny how you ask folks how they made it and they say "Na God oh!"
