My program is sept 2022. isn't that too early or too fast? not even $1500 deposit. omo! has anyone experienced this? or should i just send 2k to them?

Hmmmm, firstly the admission is genuine. Secondly the 30days is real, you have to pay the total fee in 30days. When the 30days elapses, they will remove you immediately without thinking twice.

Not a problem. I got my LOA in less than 24 hrs
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by DrAFOguns: 1:29pm On Nov 12, 2021
Thank you, Ikechi12. All the best in your reapplication as well. We shall testify.
Ikechi12:
Dear DrAFOguns, I have read your story and I am in the same situation with you. I also have a fully funded PhD offer in Canada. In fact, the funding is more than enough. I also had an additional 15k personal bank statement. But my visa was rejected.
I applied while I was in the UK for my master's degree, but due to the typical IRCC delay, they reviewed my application 3 months later when I had left the UK (so my residency status in UK had expired).
Your issue, like mine, is majorly due to you residency. If you will reapply in China, make sure that you renew your Chinese residency first! If your time left in a country is limited, they usually see it as a red flag.

My re-application process led me here and I have heard from people that had a similar situation and got their visa upon reapplying. So I believe that if you tackle the concerns raised, you would most likely be given. Just make sure you leave no stone unturned this time around. Finance is one of the major reasons for rejection, and with your full scholarship, what you have left to prove is your motivation, home ties and the fact that you will leave Canada after your program.

I wish you the best in your application.

I just got this email
But my LOI hasn’t been sent

And I sent my passport to Lagos but I don’t know why it’s showing Abuja.

Is this normal

There are two offices that handle visa stamping, lagos and abuja.. Maybe the lagos office is choked up therefore they sent yours to abuja

Also, which office did you do the biometrics?

Hello Debbie,

Sorry to hear the news but did you submit a fake document.

If yes, first of, you shouldnt. You have to wait out the ban before you can reapply..

Your letter says you are inadmissible to canada for a period of 5yrs which means if you reapply, your app will not be processed until after the 5yr ban.

You might have to consider other countries.

I didn't use fake document, there was a charge back
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Omiinii: 1:34pm On Nov 12, 2021
You didn't address the charge back properly, so they slammed you with PFL(ban).

HMMMMM!!!!

Please send a mail to the international admissions office with your own email aqsking them to verify the admission letter.

Include your full name, course, date of birth and student number... Thats the only way to verify...

The agent you used, is he/she representing the school. Also verify the name with the admission office.

did you attend to the charge back when you got the procedural fairness letter, if yes, what did you do?

The procedural fairness letter drops before you are actually banned, therefore what did you do when you got the chargeback?

Did you pay again and sent the evidence or receipt of payment
or
did you ignore it ?

It depends on you really, the bank will have to wait for CBN to allocate funds for them before they can make payment to the school, and sincerely no one can say with certainty when that will be.
Which payment are you saying is cancelled if they have not received anything?
the payment instructions i generated on paymytuition platform. They usually give 72hrs to initiate payment from your local bank. So the time they gave me has elapsed so they cancelled it.

I'll return to share my experience as I am still very much overwhelmed with Joy right now.

Hey guys. Good afternoon.

Please how do I use MBS for Zenith Bank?

I'm not seeing Canada Embassy amongst the list. Would I need to still upload it in my proof section after sending to embassy?

Someone please help! Or direct me to where I can read up. Thank you.
Same here.
Pls has anybody sent MBS from zenith bank to Canada embassy recently? Pls how did u go about it?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by viviangogos(f): 1:53pm On Nov 12, 2021
Payslip is supposed to be an evidence to back up your means of funds and proof of employment. Which means if you show you are earning a particular amount saved towards your studies, you are using your payslip to show evidence of the source of funds. So I do not think just payslip without the actual fund can serve as POF though. Also if you are both applying to go to school together, then I guess you must have other strong home ties be it economic ties...
You have drafted SOP or is your applications submitted yet? Well, this is my first time of seeing couple apply together for same purpose though. Most times we see one person apply for SP and the other SOWP...

All the best in your application.

Deronke1:

Yes, we are both applying together, same school and same course.
Payslip he submitted was his own proof of funds. He works with the British embassy so he used the payslip as his proof of funds.
I used 5 million as proof of funds
Yes, I've drafted SOP which I mentioned to my elder brother who stays in Canada, hoping they could consider us with that.
I would really appreciate your help on what to do

You have two options, you can choose either one but you have to have the thick skin and resources. The payment was cancelled by the funds transmitter because they can only hold rates for 3 days. The most important date is the deadline given to you by the school to pay so check that to know if you still have time.

Option 1. Disregard the cancellation notice and wait for your bank to process the payment, this might take another 1 to 2 weeks, and the funds get to the school( The funds that the school receives might be lower than the amount you had wanted to pay if the exchange rates go against you) it means you would have to pay the balance to the school.

Option 2. Cancel the form A request, and look for another means to send the fund to the school, other sources could be using another bank that can assure you that they will process within 3 days (some small banks can do this cos demand is not high with them) another source could be purchasing FX from the parallel market and doing a direct transfer to the school, this is expensive but very fast

So weigh your options

It's all good Jay. By Gods grace all will go well. For me? I am travelling with my child hence my reason for opting for other airline.. also if it is just the only viable option cause of funds, its is still ok for anyone going with the option.

Safe arrivals to everyone travelling to Maple land. The land shall favour us all, Amen

Hello Debbie

Sorry about your 5 year ban..

For you to have gotten a Ban, it means you refused to reply to the warning in the PFL or your response was not convincing, i.e it lacked evidences to proof your claims...

I personally know applicants that still got approval after Charge back PFL and also of recent, an applicant here got his application approved, after responding to the Charge back PFL..

So Charge back was not the reason for your Ban, you didnt actually do the right thing to defend yourself...

Peace
