forgiveness: I don't want Awaziem playing out wide in the RB position. I want him paired in the CB with Akpoguma to see how they do. Awziem is quality in a two man CB. I saw 90% of his matches while at Leganes, he was heads and shoulders above his CB partner - Omeruo. |

ChrisKels: Well, I have already seen him played as CB for SE and he didn’t do well. Perhaps, he needs a better player. No arm in trying. However, today, he played in a 3 man’s defence. |

Awaziem and Balogun CB Combo won't be bad. Ekong has lost it, too prone to Errors. #RohrOut 5 Likes |

Ndidi was too comfortable for a DM. I had thought later in the game he'd be substituted for Onyeka. Rohr has zero knowledge on what player to put where. Collins in the second half was off, one would have expected a substitution but old man used only 2 out of a possible 5 when it was glaring his team was suffering. This haram football of playing below strength is killing our game. Play each player to their strength, have the balls to bench those not performing. We were playing 3-5-2 but had zero control of the midfield. 5 midfielders FGS |

Mujtahida:Apokguma is not a CB. He plays as a wing back. Rohr deployed 352 today yet used players that are not familiar with the system. Aina plays LWB and Apokguma plays RWB for Torino and Hoffenhiem respectively but the clueless Rohr would rather play one of the best creative player in ligue 1 as a wing back and a predominantly LB as a LWB. Both Moses and Collins suppose to give the team width but were clueless. Most times the wings were empty. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Aina is probably our best Wing Back. As a full back, he's not better than Awaziem on the right or Zaidu/Collins on the left. He could rub shoulders with them but not clearly better. Let's leave club football and talk Green White Green. forgiveness: |

Honestly the pitch did not help play but our boys lack intensity and drive, seem they were not motivated b4 going out there. We don't show world cup class and seem our story remain same as usual at the WC angry Someone should tell Rohr that our problem is not strikers, we lack ball carrier, creative MF, good ball passer and our central defence is nothing near WC quality. |

Today no shot on target, CAR no shot on target, Gernot Rohr's men are doing a good job of keeping clean sheets in attack 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigeria just needs a draw against Cape Verde to qualify for the next round. Why am I this jittery especially with the performance of our boys today? Was it not the same draw we needed to qualify against Angola at the Sanni Abacha stadium, Kano in 2006 World cup qualifier that became an eye sore when they beat us 1-0. After today's match, I have been asking myself if really we can make it. I understand that in today's match, Rohr didn't want to be too adventurous but his conservative style killed today's game. So many back passes which we should never try with Cape Verde. |
