Her head is not okay. Yenyenyen love. You have money and you can’t use it to help your husband, you will now be disturbing his ears with love. How do you claim to love someone and not help them in difficult times? Useless love! 57 Likes 6 Shares |

To this young lady; At least next time you’ll listen when older and more experienced folk advice you. The foundation of a peaceful marriage is not love but understanding. There’s nothing wrong with marrying a man you earn higher than and everything wrong with marrying someone you have not had a conversation about money with. A very polygamous philosopher after spending lots of cold nights alone on his rooftop once said, "marry wrong and end up a philosopher." Do not be carried away by what society defines as love, life is not a movie. Oga @Seun I sight you! 7 Likes 1 Share |

Don't ever depend on your wife for money. If you're seriously in need of cash, and then decide to borrow from her, make sure you refund within the time you promised, especially if she earns more than you. If you are earning more than her, and responsible in taking care of most of the expenses, then you will most likely be spared of much lashing than if not. Step up as a husband, but not by all means. Don't take on depressive pressure from trying to step up. Step up must never be by way of competition or immediacy. It should be a gradual and continuous process. She accepted to marry you knowingly, but with the expectation that things will improve. Things will improve surely but gradually, with some hardwork and smartness. If single, ensure not to marry her just because she is rich, comfortable and generous. When most become wives, it becomes a different ball game. 8 Likes |

Seun: She could have supported him in taking steps that will make him bigger, like supporting him financially in any business or investement he wants to do and so on, that will make the man grow and better financially. If the table were to be turned, he would have done more for her and not coming online to complain or throw blames. On a lighter note, I like your point of view on this. Na real man you be. I like this post, even pocohantas is not wearing her feminist cloth on this post. I dey wait for one jagbajantis writer wey her name ne iyaebe abi wetin she call herself to come drop her trash as usual. Starbucks, what is your view(say) on this? 9 Likes |

Amotolongbo:nawah o So a man requesting money from a woman diminishes his position as the head of the house. And there's nothing wrong when it's the other way around. This kind of mentality is what has destroyed many marriages. 14 Likes 1 Share |

izzou: Nothing irritates me more than stingy people. Ahnahn! You claim to love him, yet you watch him struggle to meet up and survive. He isn’t even supposed to ask!! She has brains and eyes. She can see his needs and should know where to come in!! How do people act like that and still have the nerve to say they love you? It builds resentment. It was only a matter of time he begins to hate her. Rather than make amends, she is still claiming he is this and that. She should getaut with her money. It is better to be with an alata that supports you with her N10, than a Linda Ikeji that won’t give you N100,000. 33 Likes 5 Shares |

And she keeps repeating "non traditional." Why did you prefer a "non traditional" marriage but don't want to do what comes with it? That's despite the fact your parents warned you but you didn't listen. Yet, you have the audacity to talk about "non traditional" when you knew in advance what you were going into was "non traditional." Talk about a lady being confused in life. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

A so called traditional man should not marry a woman who earns more than him or he’s a thief. Only a man willing to humble himself and work with his wife should marry a woman who earns more. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

The marriage is still redeemable. I wish my wife and I could counsel them. At this modern times, husband and wife financial status should be to help each other and not to be wicked to each other. Vulnerabilities and fears should be discussed around money, if not, both parties will be acting irrationally. lalasticlala: 1 Like 1 Share |
