Do you know Imama Amakapababo?

Very sound like Ogunbote and Kennedy Boboye...I actually want Boboye or Amakapababo to handle U23 team.

Let me answer this like my opinion actually matters grin

First of all I love me some Manu Garba and Emmanuel Amunike but the answer to this question is Gbenga Ogunbote.

His teams play good football and defend well. Plus he is very good with strikers and skilled forwards. Really he turns no names into household names. How I wish u guys watched Sunday Adetunji when he was with Gbenga compared to what he plays now.

His record in CAF is even good and BTW he never had a top team, even when he qualified Enyimba for CAF he was fired. I have followed him from his last stint at enyimba and the man has over achieved with almost every team he has coached. At Enyimba he was coaching them on an horrendous Calabar pitch but they still managed to play good football. In a perfect world the Oracle would definitely be on the list of coaches to be looked at.

Do you know Imama Amakapababo? How is he? Hope no be gamble bi dis ooo?

We are mixing things up here again. So playing attacking football makes you tactically sound?

If so Bielsa ain't just tactically sound then, but tactically a Genius. No wonder elite Clubs are fighting over him.

Being a good coach doing always have to boil down to who won a trophy. Its also important to analyze his tactics and approach to matches.

If Eagles next Coach should be hired locally and based on U17 success, Manu Garba deserves it then.

Sincerely Amuneke record as a coach damn too poor to handle eagles but talking about his tactical awareness which am not really sure of cos I can only rate him with underage team.

I remember Keshi coached Mali and qualified Togo to first ever WC before gotten Nigeria job and he did well.

My major question why is Amuneke jobless all this while...why our ex internationals always waiting for national team jobs though Amuneke started well initially by getting Tanzania job, coached in Sudan and Egypt but damn too poor of him staying out of the job for so long...why not manage any NPFL team just like what Finidi is doing presently with Enyimba.

No matter how we criticized Keshi,I still respect him for going out there to prove himself before taking Nigeria job....our local coaches should try and make something outside.I remember Amodu in South Africa,Onigbinde had a stint with Trinidad and Tobago as a technical adviser to all their football matter,Ndubuisi Egbo did well too,Mike Obiku is doing something with Feyenood youth team,Seyi Olofinjana with Wolves youth team.

It could have been credible if Emma Amuneke is handling a team even in NPFL presently.

Seyi Olofinjana is the technical director of Grasshopper club Switzerland.

Honestly NFF supposed to have sack Rohr after 2018 WC but I can't really say much on local coaches but why can't we have a respected manager with highly tactical assistant....if I have my way Amuneke should assist just like Keshi assisted Amodu and the duo qualified Nigeria to 2010 WC.

Of course, if Keshi were alive today, I would take him over Rohr without any second thoughts.

Having said that, Gabon has a much higher soccer pedigree than Tanzania.

O pari

Oasis001:

Late Keshi, of blessed Memory did more than that with Gabon nau, yet he's not appreciated by Everyone - even despite that he won our last AFCON Trophy.

You are stretching the conversation beyond its context. Stop making things up. A coach who isnt afraid to attack proves he has some level of confidence and a winning mentality.

But Amunike has not only matched Manu Garba's feat but has even more experience coaching top sides.

Biesla is actually a genius...big one...His style of play has influenced a lot of top class coaches today...

Problem is that he tends to overwork his players...That often lead to fatigue and reduce their long term performance..

Omo, with our reputation, those types of coaches are not going to look our way. Do you remember how many coaches that rejected us before we got Rohr?

And by the way, I give Rohr credit for bringing orderliness and organization to the Super Eagles. My concern is that, once we fire him, we’ll get back to the time when Super Eagles is the center of chaos.

When he coached Crown of Ogbomosho they were very scary and he also had a good stinct with Enyimba and Rangers. In fact , he is one of the best tactician in Nigeria.
