The police are paid with public funds to protect the public and whatever tracking is not supposed to be paid for!! That's like asking the family of a murder victim to pay for autopsy. Some of you normalize absurdity in this dysfunctional country.

Stewpid Nigerian police.
Lost my phone to armed robbers few years ago and went to report to the police station. Officer in charge told me I had to pay 125k for him to track the phone! That was after asking me the cost of the phone and where I reside.. Had to make alternative is arrangements and I never got the phone back.
