The issue is not about urging investors to come and invest in Anambra but you have absolutely zero roads infrastructures and a liveable environment. With open gutters everywhere, road side traders who fill the gutters with trash , and a dusty greenness environment you are not ready to be taken seriously. 2 Likes |

Stop posting nonsense on this thread. If you have nothing to add to your community just shut up. Make your own money and invest in whatever that you like. Anambra is doing great in roads and environment. Investments are coming into the state as the best investment destination in the region. [s] Omanambala:[/s] 5 Likes |

AmericanQuarter: If they can make a residential estates law that every new estate should have a dual carriage main entrance. Even if they can only tar one lane at present. But must have space for the second lane in the future. This will ensure that those areas are not congested and liveable when its fully built and populated. Likewise, all new state roads within the Awka capital territory must be dual carriage roads. They should at least leave space for the second lane if it cannot be done as dual carriage at the present. Just like Chime ave. Was designed as dual carriage road in 1922, but the second lane was only added in 2009 without demolishing a single property! 5 Likes |

AmericanQuarter: Ibiza owned by Cubana group. They are taking it to the next level in contrast to all the point and kill operations on Club Road. I hope the incoming administration does something about Club Road which is now a premier commercial district in Awka. Remove the poorly constructed road, put a heavy cement base at least 4 inches thick, cover the gutters and put pavement for pedestrians. Put a traffic lights. Widen Oby Okoli to dual carriageway. Put an overhead bridge connecting Old INEC with Regina Caeli. Tax all those businesses for the road and bridge. 3 Likes |

Omanambala: Honestly I keep wondering if na witches dey come pour those sands on our tarred roads. U will a well tarred road a portion of it is filled with red sand. I think one hack to these annoying sight is for road contractors to also make provision for elevated pedestrian lanes, side by side the roads. Finish! Landlords who also own shops facing the roads should endeavor to cement and cover up the red sand The harmattan is here...get ready to see more dusty buildings and roads. 2 Likes |

Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by PROUDIGBO(m): 10:38pm On Nov 21, 2021 |
Landmack: The sand/sediment on most of our city roads are the result of not sweeping them regularly....as well as our penchant for not grassing over open spaces adjacent or close to the roads. If Dubai or London has our approach to roads maintenance and sanitation, their roads will be just as dusty as well! This is a nationwide problem and not unique to just the south-east....though some state capitals like Uyo, Calabar and (to a lesser extent) Port Harcourt are trying! 2 Likes |

plaindealer: One good thing about Eat n Go is that it is the western QSR that has stepped outside of the mall format to build standalone fast food restaurants in local communities. I first ate at a Domino's pizza at Osolo Way, Lagos and was impressed. I hope that it teaches Nigerian businesses how to architect a fast food restaurant from branding to interior design to functionality. Most Nigerian fast food restaurants are what Americans will call "Diners" where you have a plethora of menu items and you sit down and eat. The only thing is that you go and get your food from the counter. Fast Food is supposed to be fast and well packaged. I expect Burger King or a local burger chain to copy Eat n Go in its Nigerian expansion. 1 Like |

Omanambala:it's normal to have sands by the sides of every roads in Nigeria! It's quite disgraceful!! Our people have zero respect for the environment! They think you are neat only when you sweep a dirty bedroom regularly. And the government also need to help tidy the roads, rehabilitate bad portions. That's the way to go 4 Likes |
