Here is the condition

"Obtain an overall IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in any of the components (or equivalent English language qualification) and provide evidence of recent test results to the required standards. . -- Receipt of a minimum of one satisfactory academic reference in support of your application for PG study (this must be a signed and dated document, on the Institution's headed paper)."

But a bank statement won't say if an account is on lien or not,except if the request letter from the embassy specifically asks the bank to also confirm that ....I really do doubt if any bank will divulge such info.. anyway we learn everyday would be nice if you can explain further

The rule says you should have the amount for 28days in your account, it didn't say you should not withdraw. As long as your required amount is intact within that 28 days, withdrawal or credit doesn't matter. You can just minimize the number to transactions to avoid too many pages of statement of account.

Read the above, nothing says don't withdraw. There is no time to start counting all over again. I just paid my tuition deposit also to same school and had to transfer out of my zenith account to my access bank because of their delay, and would still use the same account for POF since I have enough money left. So we are in the same shoes.

For some banks there is a way the bal shows. Some will show total bal and show the POF on lien as unavailable bal.

Some schools have even stopped accepting applications for some courses for September intake.

Check the school's website and the course you want to apply to. If they've started accepting applications, then apply

I don't know anything about Northumbria organizing pre-cas interviews. Pre-cas interview shouldn't be difficult if you know the reasons why you applied to the school and the course.

The school is meant to give you a guideline on what to study. Its not that difficult.


Yes, you can apply now if Northumbria 2022 Sept application is open. If not you wait till January 2022 by then most schools would have updated their website for 2022.
