Is it too late to start my masters application for Norway [q uote author=CuteTj post=107522235] I shared a link on this thread a while ago where you can check the competitiveness of a course (the number of people that applied, the number of people that were offered admission and also the number of people that actually resumed for the course). I can't remember the exact page it was on. Search and you shall find it.[/quote] |

@ So10 Application for most schools end on the 1st of December while a few (e.g. University of Stavanger) closes on 15th of January. If you have all other required documents and you are sure your school can deliver your transcript (within two weeks) to the schools whose application closes on the 1st of December, do go for it. |

Hello All, please what's the turnaround time for transcript delivery from your university to the university in Norway giving that many Nigerian universities can delay the sending and application is only open for 1-2 months. What can one do in such case? |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by YoshihideSuga: 8:13am On Nov 23, 2021 |
J0nyb0y: Contact the school and state your worries. Inquire to know if the deadline for application is the same as uploading/delivery of documents. |

J0nyb0y:My own university is delaying my transcript so damn much. I even got a contact in my school transcript dept and they are requesting bribe to fast track it. I emailed the university in Norway and they said deadline is for both online documents upload and documents been sent by post. I've resulted to prayers now. Naija can frustrate you. 1 Like |

YoshihideSuga:is it possible to send the transcript before the application begins so that it will get there at least when it opens? |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by YoshihideSuga: 3:17pm On Nov 24, 2021 |
J0nyb0y: Depends on the university because some require the applicant to input the applicant's number on the document prior to delivery, and such can only be obtained when the portal is open. Best bet is to obtain it (transcript) from the university, arrange with a staff member and use a private courier service so as to hasten the delivery process. |

YoshihideSuga:Check your university website, or your student portal, they should have a repository of courses offered and their description/content. Alternatively, if you still have your student handbook or you could get it |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by odimbannamdi(m): 10:12pm On Nov 28, 2021 |
YoshihideSuga: Any idea what the deadline for application is? |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by CuteTj(m): 12:18am On Nov 29, 2021 |
odimbannamdi:I doubt it! They abide by the law/instructions to the last letter. When I applied, the application closed on 10th December and my transcript didn't get there until first week in February (8 - 9 weeks late) despite applying for my transcript since November. I wasn't disappointed when I was not offered admission. |
