People who failed to do the right things always pay bigger for it in the long run. Before you buy any property pls do due diligence by checking the status/title of the land from the relevant authorities to avoid the story that touch. 160 Likes 14 Shares |

It is only in Nigeria that government agents would sell a parcel of land to you, using government documents The same government that deems it illegal won't stop you from building. After a decade, they would come back and say it's illegal. Did this people buy the land from a roadside mechanic? Their documents definitely have FHA receipts attached to it. I know someone that has this Phase 2 form from the same FHA Everything in this country is upside down 228 Likes 14 Shares |

Wicked people. Resources that took years to gather just wasted in a twinkle of an eye. They should go to mushin and sanitize the area. That's how they destroyed peoples houses and means of livelihood on the badagry express way on the pretext of expanding the road and 30 years later, the road is still not completed. Wish we will learn 64 Likes 4 Shares |

Ehn May God have mercy . But I want to understand something. Assuming that these people bought 'gazzetted' land as claimed - or whatever term the government is using to absolve itself of culpability, is it not in the place of the buildings regulation and town planning agencies to inform and deter them from erecting structures in the said lands? Why wait till billions have been wasted on the lands before they come in and remind the unfortunate heads that they are occupying an illegal land? 14 Likes 1 Share |

Always targeting the Igbos. Go round Lagos state and find out that it's only the Igbo communities that this issue of demolition takes place. And you want the same people to vote our son Tinubu. Fulanis and Hausas live in different slumps and dirty environment but you you will not go and demolish their shanties. Look at beautiful houses being targeted. Why do we hate Igbos like this? 73 Likes 11 Shares |

Wow. It is well. (Victims) Their next plan should be how to move on, they shouldn't waste more energy on lamentations, please. The deed is done. Life goes on still. May God provide for them to sustain and continue with life. Others should do their findings well before acquiring any property. 2 Likes |

I wanted to buy land there as far back as 2011 through an agent when land there was as cheap as 1 million. The agent that got my flat told me that the place belongs to FHA not Ado royal family as marketed. He said he could have become a millionaire selling land there but his conscience wouldn't let him. I didn't get the land, the money self don finish for data 80 Likes 6 Shares |
