blossom101: List them as people traveling. Their nationality will indicate so on your form the VO will review. They really shouldn't be at your interview. They won't even be allowed in at the initial gate where you check in... Arrange with a caregiver or family member to sit with them at home or even in the car outside (long sit out). The embassy knows the kids are USCs and will just ask you about them. 2 Likes |

Ok. Thank you fkj950ax, I will do just that. List them as people traveling. Their nationality will indicate so on your form the VO will review. They really shouldn't be at your interview. xpansion of Interview Waiver Eligibility 17 March, 2021 Secretary Blinken, in consultation with the Department of Homeland Security, has temporarily expanded the ability of consular officers to waive the in-person interview requirement for individuals applying for a nonimmigrant visa in the same classification. Previously, only those applicants whose nonimmigrant visa expired within 24 months were eligible for an interview waiver. The Secretary has temporarily extended the expiration period to 48 months. This policy is in effect until December 31, 2021. This change will allow consular officers to continue processing certain nonimmigrant visa applications while limiting the number of applicants who must appear at a consular section, thereby reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission to other applicants and consular staff. Travelers are encouraged to review the website of the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate for detailed information on what services are currently available as well as eligibility information and instructions on applying for a visa without an interview. @justwise, @everyone Please does this interview waiver eligibility cover Nigeria? saw this on the US travel.state site. |

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing great. Please I am from the UK visa thread. I need an advise because very soon I will be filling my online uk study visa application. I was denied b1/b2 visa twice in 2014 and once in 2015. Currently I can't find those refusal papers, but I can only remember that I have collected both blue and white papers. Which either colour is twice I can't recollect. I was also denied canadian study visa in 2017 and I have the refusal paper in my possession, which states TRAVEL HISTORY and PURPOSE OF VISIT, even though I have been to UAE and KENYA. Please gurus in the house, I am prepared to declare both countries. But how can I explain the 3 b1/b2 US VISA REFUSAL when filling "WHY" I was refused. Thank you all as I await your response. |

Hello, gurus in the house, Please i need a quick guide on these questions, please I am an international student in Europe, im applying for a b1/b2 visa and i am filling my DS 160 form, Under the section on how do you plan to finance your trip to the United States, initially, i choose SELF sponsor because as a student here i cant claim that im working when im still on student status. Recently a friend was denied b1/b2 visa because he used SELF sponsor, the VO said he cant establish a strong means of financing his trip to the US being a student. My question is, i have a business in Nigeria. can i use my company information as my sponsor while im here studying in Europe, will the VO recognize it? because i can see COMPANY/ORGANIZATION as part of the option listed in the sponsorship section. I have all my company CAC and the rest docs with me here to evidence my claim during my interview. i will appreciate everyone's contribution in this regard. Thank you in anticipation. |

Zico0: That is a 21 month old release. A lot has happened after that date. That's the period COVID-19 issues started. Also the current government set aside most of all those EO by previous government. |

To be honest with you the reason your friend gave for his visa denial might not be the only reason . But you stand a better chance of getting that visa if you are a permanent resident in your country of study plus having a source of income. You can put your company as sponsor but to me that still looks like self sponsorship. Nobody here can really tell you how the interview will go. You will only know if you try. Good luck. Abdoor44: |

Abdoor44: Mr student in "Europe", Who are you bankrolling to answer your dumb questions? |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by morganchimex: 5:45pm On Nov 30, 2021 |
It depends on the type of Europe you are studying in because some of them is "ELOPE". Countries like Cyprus, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia though in Europe but in reality it's an extension of Africa and I hope you are not a student in any of them. If you happen to be in any of them, I am sorry to break your heart, you can gather all the financial sponsorship you can but my Gateman Musa stands a better chance of getting America visa in Nigeria than you. So pls to advise you effectively, let us know which exact country you reside in . U Gerrit? Abdoor44: 2 Likes |

fkj950ax: Thanks The employment based immigrant visa is the only one that suits my circumstance. Now I just have to find a prospective employer. I was reading through the employment based immigrant visa and I found a part confusing: Numerical limitation. It says, the date of filing the petition is the priority date and immigrant visa cannot be issued until an applicant priority date is reached. I'm thinking, on filing the petition, the priority date is reached, so I don't understand the second statement. Could you clarify for me, cause it further says, it could take several years before the priority date is reached and I don't have that kind of time.
